Soviet Volga V12 Coupe custom built !!!!!! 56kb warning

A bit about the history of soviet cars and "Volga" in general:


Reminiscent of an early 50s Studebaker, the Volga V12 Coupe comes from Russia with love (but has absolutely nothing to do with that other Volga car company. Beneath its skin a BMW 850Csi gave up its soul to produce the Volga. The original "Volga" was produced during 1956-1970,thats 14 years of production of this car without changing it. " Some russian car fans took one of the early Volgas and rebuilt it, made it lower, they put BMW 850Csi V12 engine into it. they made it wider etc.. I have not any accurate information but some rumours have told that the building of this car has been as expencice as 100 000 - 200 000 USD.. Don't know if thats true or not. I had the chance to see this car at the Autoexotica car show in Lithuania. And it is impressive and beautiful.
