that's indeed crazy, it actually looks a bit fake to be honest.

I could be wrong, but just consider the option.

king of supercars that go...in a straight line!

What was this cars time on the 'Ring? Did it even complete a whole lap with out overheating and shutting down?

absolutely nuts.. 4 tons from 0 to 60 in 2 seconds.. fuckin ridiculous..

Thought it was 2.5 ? and has this been officially tested yet?

Would that be faster than F1 and a bike?

yg60m 05-24-2006 10:48 AM

lol, I think you got the point here  I am not sure it achieves to finish a flying lap on the Nurb. without overheating ... but I love it anyway and this video .... Amazing, I wonder if it really is at normal speed not fast forward

Svensson 05-24-2006 12:51 PM

the final production Veyron has not been to the Ring.....but the priority of this car is not to attend track day events and compete in AutoX.

it is to reign as THE premium car in the world, bar none....and that's exactly what it is doing these days.

No matter what you say, its still a performance car with the figures they wanted this car to do.

I do get the idea of this car.. It's just that if it can't do one single lap of the 'Ring with out melting its brakes or overheating then whats the point if they spent so much money trying to make this car reliable..

If you had this car you would want to drive it like a complete mad man (like on a track) and not pussy footing around town..

Vansquish 05-24-2006 01:41 PM

Damn...that's pretty freakin' impressive...now if Bugatti could only have done it in a car that didn't weigh so damned much...

it can beat an F1 car off the line
in the best scenario , it`s lucky if can hold up with the F1 up to 100km/h and then it`s bye bye Veyron

Vansquish 05-24-2006 02:12 PM

^^ and then about 150km/h after that point, the Veyron would start catching up again...depending on the amount of wing that the F1 car was running.
