haha, yeah, that was going to be my next question. What a retard, to get the badges wrong.

Whats the point?

no, we just talk alot of shit in the shop and laugh our asses off at him.

after i figured out his turn signal issue something happened with his dvd audio system and none of the sound was working. he tried to blame me but since nothing is BMW approved it was explained to him that anything wrong with the system isn't my problem

if any of you have seen the V-tec Mustang video that was posted about a month or two ago, that's pretty much the way we poke fun at him in the shop

I dont know if this is common in other countries, but here BMW sell M packages on your bog stock 3series or 5series, M bodykit and badges. Sure it produces a laugh but its sold from the dealers with the M.

Anyway I like the size of the brakes with the 20's haha.

ZfrkS62 11-15-2004 08:51 AM

to a certain point that is true here. BMW offers a sport package which gives you an M suspension and steering wheel but no M badges of body kits. the only way to tell these cars apart is to have them side by side since the Sport Package has a lower ride height.

One of the best post in a long time..... The M-badge is a classic in bad taste.... There is a lot of cars out there that have been trashed.... One of my dads costumors have a E39 M5 bumper on a E34. Looks horrible. I will try to get a pic...

jamberl 11-17-2004 05:04 PM

All this bad automotive taste is making me sick!
Maybe we need to give the police powers to fine drivers with bad taste.
"Excuse me sir, but these rims clearly do not belong on this car. Please step out of the vehicle"

ZfrkS62 11-17-2004 10:35 PM

time for their rating :D
OK..they own a BMW. Automatic 3. it's a convertible. add 1. and the flashy wheels add 2. (yes only 2, they aren't oversized..just chrome)

so they get a rating of 6, National Attention Whore

and this one, i just thought was cool. It's a stock 2.5 Z3, Auto. trans. kinda boring. but i like the sticker :D
http://img105.exs.cx/img105/6614/DSCF39.jpg

i'm going to put it in my sig :D

jamberl 11-23-2004 09:05 PM

How much do rims like that one cost?

ZfrkS62 11-23-2004 09:18 PM

i don't know, lets bend one and find out :P :D

chrome is just tacky on a Bimmer though. unless it is the chrome trim on a 7 series

ZfrkS62 12-06-2004 10:48 PM

HAHAHAHA!! I told you guys this E66 was running around here! it was just a matter of time before i crossed paths with it again  :D

http://img65.exs.cx/img65/2813/t0timg0004.th.jpg

Even with the EDC, because of the stiff sidewalls of the low profile tires it rides like SHE-ITE!!

Folks, we haven't had a 10 yet, and we dont' have one here, but we;re getting close, but if he springs the extra 3grand for the spinning adapters (3K USD per wheel) he will be elevated

Lets see here...he gets a 70-$80K vehicle (6), has a baby whose mother has an ass almost as good as the one posted the other day (sorry, missed my chance to grab a snaphot of it. But if she shows up to get the car tomorrow, we'll see what i can do :D )(1) and spent $16,000 in jewlery for a car that didn't need any to begin with(1.6)

Rating= 8.6 Inter Planetary Attention Whore :P

Vansquish 12-07-2004 03:08 AM

LOL...not only are the 22"s, but they're ugly ones too (not that many 22" wheels are even slightly attractive...actually, come to think of it, the car's pretty ugly too) Maybe the owner just decided he couldn't make the E65 any more ugly, so he might as well bling it up.

TransAm 12-07-2004 12:00 PM

Great thread ZfrkS62, and what a great ratings system! If it wasn't for jumping on the proverbial bandwagon I could share a few 'sights' from Texas. Alas the fascination for bling and rice is just as bad here.

I think we should sticky this.
