What do you know about the new 928 ?

first, sorry my fault i´m starting to mix up things *confused*, sure it´t 986 now, i was already thinking of the new Boxster, the 987

you can find some infos in "Porsche news" about "E2 A/B"...

IMO there was nothing wrong with the front. It looked awesome. These headlights are a step back in time. It was the back that needed a facelift.... THE BACK!

BTW, congratulations st-anger with your new section. :D

targa roof on the cayenne?! is it going to be ok in roll over tests, is it really that stiff or is it in the process of being stiffened?

jon_s 04-05-2004 02:47 PM

Thak god it is not going to look like that!

It looks all wrong!

I liked the back of the first one more than the front....and I don't mind the look of this one. I'd probably never buy one...but then again...I did buy a 951t

Yeah Porsche Model Names confuse me.

996, next will be the 997, then the 998, and I am guessing the 999 after that. So what happens after 999?

we had that discussion here in "Porsche news" quite some time ago, but it´s more or less useless, to me, this is marketing, i´m technician  :D

Oh sorry, I thought Porsche News was actually quite new. Didn't know that. I'll definitely try to look it up.

Thanks for pointing it out.

Ok a Cayenne is not a Porsche that I really love, but in this picture it looks absolutely horrible... glad it isn't going to look like that in the future

skituner 04-17-2004 04:15 PM

it looks terrible
i like the current one better

HeilSvenska 04-17-2004 08:56 PM

Hmmmmm...Cayenne definitely needs a facelift, but nothing of that sort. In fact what's needed is...lowering the ground clearance about 5 inches, lowering the height about 10 inches, lop 2 doors, shortening length about 10 inches, and finally, moving the engine into the opposite from where it is now.

Sachmo12345 05-27-2004 04:30 PM

now that is ugly, it looks like a bad photoshop

gucom 05-29-2004 06:23 AM

hmmmm i read in EVO that a 2005 Cayenne facelift is planned...this is a photoshop tho. The grille in front looks fake to me, its a lot smaller than the current one
