Just in case you didnt know...... if you have audigy 2, there is a section in the control panel where you can apply distortion effects to the incoming signal, as well as reverb, etc.

Yea, I have the Audigy 2 ZS

At the moment I am forced to play a squire p bass, and yes it is shit. Ive known that is sucks for a while now, but I havent the $$ to buy something else. I was thinking of getting a musicman bass, or a G&L, but was also considering a Jazz Bass. My question is: did you notice a big difference in the sound between the p-bass and the J-bass? My understanding is that the J-bass has a punchier sound. What has been your experience?

Having a shitty bass is doubly annoying as I have a good amp (Hartke 3500) and a good cabinet (GK quad Box) which are being wasted on a crappy guitar

I acually have a fender p bass to but its at my school because i play my bass in the school band, and the siund between them is way different. the jazz has a more smooth sound compared to the percision. and also the neck is much nicer on the jazz

i used to run my guitar through my pc, that was back in the day. but then the effects sound shit. I am a big supporter of the valve

jamberl 10-09-2004 04:43 AM

Yeah valve amps sound cool.

Dont they need more care and maintenance than solid state amps?

cho_888 10-09-2004 06:22 AM

yeah heaps more, valves blow at random times and you need to replace them every few years to keep your amp sounding tops, but they sound unreal!!! i have got my eye on a DSL or TSL

How does that work? I just go to www.ultimate-guitar.com for all my tabs.

cho_888 10-10-2004 05:11 PM

trust me its the best. Download the program, instal it and then when you download the tabs, it will play the tab for you as a midi file and you can write your own stuff

Cool. I got a pretty decent fernendez. I'd post a picture, but i got no camera.

ZfrkS62 10-10-2004 06:07 PM

can you borrow one from someone? or take a regular picture to walgreens and they should be able to scan it and put it on a disc for you to upload.

cho_888 10-11-2004 02:11 AM

i am afraid the sam rules should apply, pics or STFU
