dingo 12-26-2004 10:37 AM

looks very nice.....can you tell me what 'atelier' is though?

MIHALS 12-26-2004 11:00 AM

atelier > studio > penthouse..... you don't know what is atelier?

dingo 12-26-2004 11:08 AM

I have to admit I've never heard that word used before......but I know what it is now. :D

MIHALS 12-26-2004 11:12 AM

sorted out

Darkel 12-26-2004 05:28 PM

I guess the only reason why I knew what "atelier" means it's because it's the same word in french
Your "atelier" pics make me jealous, I'm always trying to find a good white background for my models but can't find anything :|

MIHALS 12-26-2004 06:01 PM

ok, my bad. so what other word do you use instead of "atelier"? I feel free to be teached English

dingo 12-26-2004 08:28 PM

I think the direct translation would be 'workshop'......but you can still use atelier since we (I) now know what it means. :D

MIHALS 12-28-2004 06:13 AM

what you think about this? I tried to make a better wheels in PS than those ugly original ones

dingo 12-28-2004 06:39 AM

MIHALS 12-29-2004 06:52 AM

MIHALS 12-29-2004 01:16 PM

thanx ARMAN!!! I like it like this too and like this it will hang on the wall as another 40x30cm picture

TT 12-29-2004 01:20 PM

BTW for the engine cover, isn't the "rod" that usually keeps it open included with the Hotwheels model?

MIHALS 12-29-2004 01:29 PM

no, it has only Carrera GT I've got. Enzo has just this on the roof

I'll be very happy when i get my GT2!

Darkel: My Enzo's doors work fine 8)

MIHALS 12-29-2004 03:47 PM

my doors not too :( . when I was working (taking pictures), I had to stick piece of wire to the doors to keep them opened...

MIHALS 06-07-2005 08:53 AM

one day I went to buy just the power cable for my laptop with the UK plug and they had in the shop this Lambo discounted from 29.99 to 14.99 pounds, so I couldn't resist  . it's nothing special - cheap model, plastic body with "easy scratching off paint", but I love those opening doors by pressing button on the remote and front lights looking like xenons  . but it's also too low, so there's no way to make it move on the carpet - wheels are just spinning and nothing else happens... but on the wooden floor is god damn quick!!! I just love it!!! well, I'm already 26, so I feel little bit like a small boy, but who cares? when I was small, there was nothing like this in Czech, because of the socialism... but that's another story...
if you want to see those doors in action, download this short video

MIHALS 10-05-2005 06:44 AM

MIHALS 10-06-2005 10:09 AM

well, I just found out, that the veyron is here in Brighton 10GBP cheaper than the red one in czech.... and I like it in blue much more, so I bought it - I'm sooooo happy to have one!!! :D
here are some pics... I don't have PS installed, so I had to just resize it in ACDSee. better pics from studio soon

adamwich 10-06-2005 02:17 PM

Very nice Veyron! How does it feel to own the worlds fastest car? :D

MIHALS 10-06-2005 09:01 PM

dani  thanks mate! the sagaris is waiting on me in czech at my dealer's (same guy which sold me Tuscan and GT2 and ARMAN has the E30 M3 from him...). he offered me a Veyron in red/black for 70GBP, but yesterday I was in the shop and they had only this one for 59.99GBP. I like it more in blue, so I bought this one...
2 models for one Veyron? well, but it's not the Autoart then

adamwich  well, I felt much more happier, when bought a GT2 actually
but when I saw the Veyron, I said to myself "I have to have this supercar's supercar" :D

gis 10-06-2005 10:05 PM

You have a beautiful Veyron from AUTOart ! I will like to have one, but I still hesitate about the color. :?

I understand your enthusiasm MIHALS about the 996 GT2 from AUTOart, this model is my favorite of my collection with the 993 GT2 from UT models ! :D

Fair enough, and yes a review would be nice. :P

MIHALS 10-25-2005 05:13 AM

ok, here's the review:
quite big and heavy car with bulletproof windows (just check the picture  ), made really well, steering is quite light, but as it is a hypercar, its missing suspensions at all, so the ride on the wooden floor is needed and you have to forget about the carpet  . on the road is really fast, but when you want to go faster, you have to stop and flip the rear spoiler by switching the button on the bottom of the car, so your oponent will be gone much more earlier  .... and when you want to go for a long trip and want to fill the suitcase added to the trunk, you are fucked, because it's impossible to take it out :?
end of the review

MIHALS 10-27-2005 09:50 PM

just one update on the top of this page - the F50

sorry, I have no time at all, so I could do just this one picture at the mo' (it takes me about 15-20 mins to edit one picture...)

thanx

MIHALS 01-17-2006 07:11 AM

I have 2 news for you guys... as usual, one is nice, the other is sad :( . so I'll start with the nice one, as you saw in the topic name. I bought the Aa Gallardo Polizia Stradale :D it's very nice model, great quality, just perfect. here's just two pictures of it, because I have no time due to my holidays in my country... this time I've done two sets of pics > one in the studio, the other outside, on the snow :D . and here comes the sad news > my brother sold the studio  because he moved to Prague and he'll be buying studio there... so this is the last studio session  .... as I said, here's just two pics, others coming at least in the end of this week

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v5...e/PICT0071.jpg

dingo 01-17-2006 07:30 AM

Brilliant picture of the Gallardo!! :good:

A shame about the workshop being sold, now you'll need even more skill to get these pics. :D
