Nice pictures.
It's a good idea to make photos on mirror :)
I'll try making photos of models that way :D

ARMAN 01-23-2006 08:26 PM

:P nice work MIHALS, I bet you used polarizer on those shots

MIHALS 01-23-2006 08:40 PM

yeah, now you know how the polarizer works... :prr:

but as I managed, it's better to not use it for models - just check the first picture on the second row - it makes "rainbow" looking window :(

DeMoN 01-23-2006 11:49 PM

No idea what polarizer means, but pics look good.

MIHALS 01-24-2006 12:00 AM

I mean polarizing filter

ARMAN 01-25-2006 02:02 PM

Actually I love the effect of polarizer with a slight rainbow :P but on that pic you say is too much rainbow :)

MIHALS 05-22-2006 07:36 PM

another model to my collection - Lamborghini Miura Jota SVR by Kyosho - the build quality is excellent and it wasn't the most expensive model I bought :D

these are just a preview pics taken on my T-Shirt  , I can't wait for the sunny day to take her out for a photoshoot :D

:P

MIHALS 08-11-2006 04:02 PM

Today I bought 2 big icons :D

VERY quick pics, better quality coming later...

I said to myself I have to own The Mighty Macca, so I was lucky and my dealer had one :D
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v5...aren-F1-01.jpg

and another beautie - TDF Blue FXX
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v5...ari-FXX-01.jpg

momodels 08-11-2006 05:51 PM

I heard only the worst about this FXX. I almost got special limited version with carbon plate but I am happy now that I not bought it. Itīs not worth that much money. Hope I found one with low price 8)

MIHALS 08-11-2006 09:21 PM

^^^ I think you know this:
There's 3 types of quality now. low, with no side windows and simply cheap model, then medium, which is this one and high that you metioned on the C/F plate. I think this medium quality is really great and it surpriced me a lot in the positive way of meaning :) . the paint is great, built quality aswell... don't know what you've heard... :? ... I can recomend it, but will paint those wheels BLACK

Normal FXX
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1.../FXXNormal.jpg

Elite FXX
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...e/FXXElite.jpg

Elite Special Edition
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...iteSpecial.jpg

momodels 08-12-2006 04:43 AM

Impressions by raidou: The gaps are horrible (the front hood does not close flush), painting is to thin (the color looks brighter on edges), printing is not accurate (white stripe on the nose is crooked), the interior is like Welly-level, brake discs are made of cheap plastic (F40 and Enzo have metal discs) and the engine looks dull as well...so thatīs what I heard.

MIHALS 08-12-2006 04:50 AM

well, the paint is ok on my model, gaps are ok, even when compared to Aa model, engine bay looks ok to me, but yes, it could be better and those breake discs are cheap :? . Mattel has still a lot to learn from Aa, but the quality is still much better than "stock" enzo... for me, it's nice looking model which I would recommend

momodels 08-12-2006 05:01 AM

Thatīs your opinion. I changed HW Enzo as fast as it was possible and bought BBR. Ferrari models are important for me 8)

MIHALS 08-12-2006 01:59 PM

well Enzo isn't really nicelly made... wheels, gaps, paint... toy...
on the other hand this FXX is somewhere else, but still not next to Aa models...

MIHALS 08-15-2006 01:43 PM

since my brother sold the studio, I had no place where to do my "photoshoots" with my models. so I decided to make my own "home-studio". it's not as pro as my brother's, but it's enough for me :D
this is how it looks like and the first picture of the FXX on photoshoot :D
