Ferrari sightings today!

Today finally the sun was really back with a nice Spring day.. so obviously everybody was out to do some walking on the shores of the lake and many car owners had to take out their nice cars :D
I just drove around a little and then parked near the lake and took pics for some 60 minutes, maybe less..

And here are the highlights.. Ferraris :D also got E55 AMG, ML55, SL55, SL500, M3 and more (you can see them in the gallery and in my signature in the next months) ;)

Not really normal for Lausanne neither in an usual sunny day :D but today had something special I think :D

Imre 03-28-2004 01:11 PM

I have seen 3 Ferraris in my life(all red 360M) and you see 5 Ferraris in an houre. :D

Anonymous 03-28-2004 01:34 PM

Some people are lucky where they live for cars for instance myself i live (when i'm not at uni) about 5 mins from the village of pimperne which used to have a ferrari dealership. So quite a few sightings myself but unfortunatley no pics :(

mit5005 03-28-2004 02:43 PM

When i visit Miami in Florida there are a lot of cars like that there. There is a dealership called The Collection and another one called Prestige Imports. I always see things like 911 turbos and 360 modenas. I feel like moving there. Nice pics TT.

jon_s 03-28-2004 04:10 PM

The first 3 cars are all in the same place too! How friggin lucky is that!

TT 03-28-2004 04:16 PM

Yes yes the first 3 where shooted while I was parked on the lake :D sadly all of them were pretty fast and I was unable to shoot while they were beside me, but only when they were pretty far away.

Chingachgook 03-28-2004 05:39 PM

Lucky man!!
I wish I see all those cars, I've never seen a bad car in you sign )except Mercedes, I don't like at all)

Tomerville 03-28-2004 05:44 PM

AWSOME pix TT...do you live in Lausanne? I went there on vacation with my family in 1996, its nice. Yeah, in NYC we don't see nice cars like that! only black drab S-classes.

TT 03-28-2004 05:57 PM

Yes I live "almost" in Lausanne. I'm in Renens, and the borderline with Lausanne is 150 meters from here LOL :D SO yes, basically it's Lausanne :D

In 1996 it was a trip to Switzerland? Or just to Lausanne?

No.1 03-28-2004 06:02 PM

Wow! More than 5 in an hour. I see a Ferrari once a month if i am lucky - although i saw about 25 in one day at a race track, and at the NEC motor show.

You must live in a very rich area TT.

TT 03-28-2004 06:12 PM

Hey we also have a big load of Pandas, Fiat Puntos and such around ;)

Today I also shot a crappy light blue and rusty Lancia Fulvia ;) but the pic was blurry.

excellent 8)

oantob 03-30-2004 10:35 AM

ur one lucky dude... last sunday i've just seen a red ferrari 360 and a lambo countach... i forgot to bring my camera

veilsidebr 03-30-2004 01:13 PM

the pics didn´t stayed so well... :?

TT 03-30-2004 01:21 PM

Not sure what do you mean, but try to shoot a car moving at 60 km/h and some 60-70 meters away from you.

tanelvali 03-30-2004 02:51 PM

You guys are lucky. But doesn't it get not so special anymore when you just go out and see ferraris every day? Here in estonia I have seen ferrari modena TWICE, and F355 TWICE during my whole lifetime. And If i should see one again the hart starts to pump and bloodpressure rises... lucky when you won'tget killed in the traffic when rushing to see the car... Now that is EXOTIC!!! :) When all my neighbousr would have astons, ferraris, zondas... it just would not be the same anymore.

TT 03-30-2004 05:55 PM

No, I could watch Ferraris every second! It's always special IMO!

One would think you wouldn't have enough time to have a job.

nejcdolinsek 03-31-2004 02:30 AM

 That has got to be a new world record for most Ferrari sightings on the street in a span of 60 min!!! You lucky ....

TT 03-31-2004 09:23 AM

raphaelws 04-01-2004 09:42 AM

in São Paulo - Brazil.
in Europa avenue, we can see alot ferraris like, 360, Stradale, 355, 348, the Daytona, F575, F550, even the Ferrari F50

italian_stalion_32 04-02-2004 01:38 AM

id love to see that... did u see them all in a row kinda thing? where were they goin?

TT 04-02-2004 04:31 AM

If you were asking to me, well, they were just cruising around, not in a row of course. They were spread over an hour. No there was no Ferrari meeting, no track day, nothing. They were just going to the lake for a drink I suppose.

Agreed! And some are even more special, like this rare Ferrari 330 P4, which I snapped recently at Killarney race track in Cape Town.

I especially like the curves
