The latter Lamborghini Reventon searches for owner in spite of the communications, that all super-penalties Lamborghini Reventon are already sold off, this not thus. 19 machines actually are located in the use, but one more searches for its owner. Everything which is necessary it to acquire, this to appear on Innovation Cars into Ribchester (Great Britain) and to propose for it the appropriate price. Reventon, created on base Lamborghini Murcielago, left by the limited party into 20 copies; it is equipped with the 6,5- liter engine V12 with a power of 650 LS and is capable to be accelerated to 100 km/h in 3,4 seconds. Its maximum speed of 340 km/h. In actuality, "remained" of super-penalties at the present moment already belongs to the former professional football player new Makoleyu (Hugh McAuley), but it presented it in sale for the price, which is not refined. It is assumed that the owner not will call cost, but ultra-exclusive automobile will be reached to that, who actually will be able to itself it to allow. So that if you worshipper Lamborghini Reventon, in you still are chances to acquire him into the property (that, let us recall, it occurs similar type automobiles often they complex, indeed buy up already at the stage of predzakaza).

The latter Lamborghini Reventon will leave from the hammer you do remember, we somehow did write about the show- stopper of the Frankfort auto-salon of 2007 - exclusive super-square Lamborghini Reventon? Automobile is released by the limited series in a quantity only of twenty copies. Many rich fans of legendary Italian stamp and simply well-off admirers of speed for sure were upset, after learning, that all two ten machines were bought up in the schitannye hours. We want to gladden those, who already took leave with the thought about the acquisition of this "betmobilya": to the tradings is advanced the latter, the twentieth Reventon. How so it did come out? The fact is that one of the buyers (eks- football player of Hugh makoli) decided to advance its of super-penalties on sale. Automobile is located in the official dealer, in the English city Of ribchester, county lancashire. The thus far starting mark, with which will begin the tradings, they hold in the strictest secret. The primary cost of Italian bolide composed one million Euro-. But it is completely obvious that the auction price of this Reventon will be much higher. So that prepare for denezhki!..

Lamborghini Reventón
With an all-new body inspired by a jet fighter, the LP640-based Reventón is Lamborghini’s most extreme – and expensive – supercar ever
http://www.evo.co.uk/images/front_pi..._223455_25.jpg

How do you turn a Lamborghini Murciélago LP640 into something more extreme? The temptingly glib answer is you can’t. Or possibly a counter-question: why would you want to? After all, you might think, the Murciélago wrote the book on ‘extreme’. It has one of the most dramatic shapes in supercar history. And, ramming home the point, it’s a well- known fact that old women and children still hobble/run away or faint when they see one coming towards them.

But is the Murciélago really that extreme, or is it just stunningly beautiful? I’d go with the latter. Yes, it has presence. And yes, its size and shape generate plenty of drama, but it’s actually a remarkably restrained piece of work, unsullied by any stick-on bits that might be calculated to top up its already ample testosterone levels.

You might remember that, many years ago, the same ‘clean ‘n’ simple’ descriptions were applied to the original Countach and Diablo. But there’s a grand tradition at Lamborghini – and one that owner Audi is clearly keen to keep alive – that once a design reaches a certain age, its aesthetic envelope gets pushed. Hard. But never quite this hard.

Called the Reventón, this new variation on the Murciélago takes its name, in the Lamborghini tradition, from a fighting bull (and one with a reputation, having killed the famed Mexican bullfighter Felix Guzman in 1943). It is being billed as the company’s most expensive and extreme supercar ever, and for the 20 ‘friends and collectors’ who’ve placed deposits on the entire limited production run, life with a Murciélago will never be the same again.

Or maybe it will. According to Manfred Fitzgerald, marketing manager at Lamborghini for the past nine years, now head of design, and the man directly responsible for the million-euro (plus taxes) Reventón, the decision to makeover a Murciélago was entirely design-led. So despite the identical price, it’s not a Veyron chaser. It hasn’t been made to set a new land speed record either, and it won’t accelerate any quicker than the standard LP640 or go round corners any faster.

Not intentionally, anyway, though the liberal use of carbonfibre composites and the fact that each one of the 6.5-litre V12 engines will be blueprinted (liberating a minimum 10 extra bhp, bringing the total to a guaranteed 641bhp at 8000rpm) may exert subtle influences in these areas. Still, you could argue that the LP640 is fast enough already…

Tempting as it might be to dream, this most certainly isn’t the Murciélago equivalent of the Gallardo Superleggera. No, Lamborghini describes the Reventón as ‘haute couture’, ‘a symbol of extreme exclusivity’, which is refreshingly candid at least. A bigger clue to the thinking behind it is given by Stephan Winkelmann, Lamborghini’s chairman and CEO, who explains, ‘Our designers at the Lamborghini Style Centre based in Sant’Agata took the technical base of the Murciélago LP640 and compressed and intensified its DNA, its genetic code.’

But only after a trip to the local American airbase to introduce a degree of stealth fighter loading to their collective inspiration. The dispenser of shock and awe that really caught their eye, relates Fitzgerald, was the F-22 Raptor, with its simple, angular shape, sharp edges and distinctive nose-forward canopy.

Exported to the four-wheeled realm, this translates into a more technical and edgy-looking Murciélago with interrupted lines and contorted surfaces to create a more dynamic play of light across its surfaces. The aerospace overtones account for the paint finish as well; also called Reventón, the new hue is described as a mid-opaque green/grey ‘without the usual shine’. Very Top Gun.
As with the LP640, the Reventón’s exterior is carbonfibre, glued and riveted to a carbon and steel structure. The overall dimensions and proportions remain similar to the Murciélago’s but, panel for panel, the bodywork is all new.

The heavily revised, pointed nose section features gaping jet-fighter-like ducts that cool the carbon brake discs and six-pot callipers. Further back, the doors still scissor upwards, just as on the regular Murciélago (and the Diablo and Countach before that), but the sill spoilers beneath them are functionally asymmetric – the one on the driver’s side is larger to allow an increased flow of air to the radiator; on the other side the spoiler is flat as it only has to contain the airflow below the floor.

The downforce-generating flat underbody now terminates with a highly visible rear diffuser, which, along with the adjustable rear wing, enhances stability when approaching the car’s claimed top speed of ‘over 340kph’ – that’s 211mph, unchanged from the LP640.

The airflow and section of the variable-geometry air intakes for the engine have also been modified, while the engine cover is made of glass laminate (with open ventilation slits) – all the better to show off the V12 beneath. And for lovers of tactile petrol caps, the Reventón’s is nothing short of a work of art, being milled from a solid aluminium block.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the lighting jewellery seen on the latest Audis gets an outing here, too, with the restyled bi-xenon headlight units gaining sparkling LED daytime running lights and indicators. There are LEDs at the back for the tail-lights, brake lights and indicators, too, arranged in three arrowhead shapes to mimic the theme seen throughout the rest of the new design. Being located near the exhaust and just above the engine cooling ducts, these particular LEDs have been specially developed to be heatproof.

Completing the external makeover is a striking new wheel design that sees a carbonfibre fin screwed to each aluminium spoke. The fins aren’t there just for show, either, they’re there to create a turbine effect to further aid the cooling of the massive 380mm brake discs.

Inside, Lamborghini’s favoured blend of Alcantara, carbon, aluminium and leather is stunningly resolved and, massaging the cutting-edge strike-fighter theme, the dash has no dials, only three TFT liquid crystal displays set in a housing milled from solid aluminium billet and shrouded in a carbonfibre casing. The driver can choose from three vehicle information settings and, at the press of a button, switch from a digital to a quasi-analogical display with classic circular instruments. There’s even a g-force meter that represents dynamic driving forces by the movement of a sphere on a 3D grid, depending on the direction and intensity of the acceleration. An instrument along the same lines can be found in high-performance aeroplanes, and Formula 1 teams also use a similar device to analyse dynamic forces.

At over a million euros, it would be hard to say who might be tempted to buy the Reventón – if they hadn’t already all been sold. As ever, ‘extreme exclusivity’ is a sought-after commodity. It’s something of a collectors’ item. But you’ll be glad to hear that orders have been spread fairly evenly around the globe, with only a slight clumping in the USA. One is even destined for the UK. A very rare Lambo indeed.

The Ghedi (Brescia) military airport was the setting this week for an extraordinary acceleration race between a Tornado aircraft [A200-A] provided by the airbase, and the Lamborghini Reventón driven by an official Lamborghini test driver.
The fighter pilot and the Lamborghini test driver challenged each other on the 3000 m-long runway.
The Reventón took the lead in the first leg of the race, but the Tornado caught up in the last few metres, taking off and flying over the Reventón that was going at a speed of over 340 km/h.
The Ghedi military base was chosen as the venue at which to present the Lamborghini super car to international TV networks. The ideal environment in which to emphasise the Reventón’s aeronautic styling, the airbase was made available to Lamborghini by General Carlo Landi of the Fifth Department of the Stato Maggiore dell A.M, and Colonel Aurelio of the Sixth Formation.
The Reventón’s design – entirely designed by the Centro Stile Lamborghini and perfected down to the finest detail in close collaboration with Lamborghini’s R and D management - drew its inspiration from the world’s fastest aircraft in modern aviation. It is from this heritage that the Reventón has drawn its extremely precise, technically impressive style with sharp edges, exact lines and clean surfaces, along with its exclusive new matte grey-green exterior colour.
There are only 20 Reventón cars available, each with a price tag of 1 million euros plus taxes. All are already sold and will be built and delivered in 2008.

The Lamborghini Reventón, officially presented to the public at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September, also won the "Most Beautiful Automobile in the World 2007" award this month in the special models category, and is destined to become a new legend in the fascinating history of the House of the Raging Bull.

"There are some photogenic cars that take your breath away just from the pictures. And there are others that you have to see in the flesh to appreciate. Then there are a few – like the Lamborghini Reventon – that fit both: each picture speaks a thousand words, but seeing it up close yields an even deeper appreciation of its styling. The most extreme of Lamborghinis was created for just that purpose: shock and awe.
Although rumors are circulating that Lamborghini may give the green light for a total production run of 100, currently the company plans to build only twenty examples, which means that most may never have a chance to see one up close and in person. Fortunately Sant'Agata has released this video walk-around to allow the world to take in its latest creation in all of its oblique glory. Follow the jump to see for yourself."

Test Drive: Lamborghini Reventón http://akillichip.com/templates/rhuk...pdf_button.png http://akillichip.com/templates/rhuk...rintButton.png http://akillichip.com/templates/rhuk...mailButton.png Written by ercan Wednesday, 07 July 2004 We put Lambo's latest limited-edition, $1.4 million supercar through its paces on an abandoned Italian airstrip. Video and photos galore inside
When we heard that Lamborghini was offering a first drive of its brand new Reventón, we dispatched far-flung PopSci correspondent William Snyder to Italy without hesitation. The 650-horsepower Reventón—named after a bull that killed the legendary matador Felix Guzman in the 1940s—does 0–60 in 3.4 seconds (topping out at 211 mph), comes in a limited production run of 20, and looks like the love child of an F-22 Raptor jet and the latest Batmobile. Here's our correspondent's report from Bologna.
When I was told about the chance to go to Italy to be among the first to drive the Lamborghini Reventón, I had to consult a gearhead friend to make sure I wasn’t in for more than I could handle. This IM exchange took place last week:
Me: I'm heading to drive the new Lamborghini for a day soon. You've driven a couple before, right?
JB: Yeah, they're pretty easy to drive. Why are you going?
ME: PopSci called yesterday and needs a review of the new Reventón.
JB: Holy ****! You're gonna drive the Reventón?!
JB: It's a really powerful car and might not be all that easy to drive. A big mid-engine means it can get loose in turns if you’re hitting them hard, so you need to be careful.
ME: Well, i've been mastering Opels and Fiats here in Spain all summer.
JB: Please don't die.
ME: I'll probably just roll around in first gear, and then if I get too worried I'll break it and get out
JB: No. Speed. But remember, don’t die.

Driving advice in my life has always been lighthearted: Don't ride the clutch. Accelerate through a turn. Watch for cops laying speed traps behind diners. That kind of thing. But now it was getting ominous.
The thought of driving a Lambo, though, was just too tantalizing. The legendary Countach was my childhood fantasy of sexiness, punctuated with a bikini-clad girl perched on the hood like she was floating on a velvet cloud. And I’m not alone. I IMed another friend:
ME: Dude, test-driving a Lamborghini for work!
John: Lamborghini! Get a girl to pose on the hood. Like the posters!

But the factory in Sant'Agata stopped cranking out the Countach in 1990, and from what I could find online, the Reventón wasn’t about explicit sexuality. For starters, the paint job doesn’t scream string bikini—it’s a drab gray/green you would expect on a tank or a hunting blind. But somehow (they say it’s the metallic flakes) the color shimmers and pops.
And the body, a carbon-fiber composite glued to a steel frame, pays an obvious homage to stealth fighter jets. Broken lines and sharp angles are not the trend for supercar designs among the other big players, such as Bugatti’s Veyron or the world’s fastest production car, Shelby’s Ultimate Aero.
The Veyron and Ultimate Aero changed the direction of supercars from form and function to straight-up raw power. The Reventón seems to be bridging the gap for Lamborghini. It maintains the Sistine Chapel–like standards of good looks while answering the market demand for ludicrous speed. I mentioned this to my mother before leaving.
Mom: Don’t speed, and please don’t die.
What is this? My family and friends are suddenly under the impression that I’m a horrible driver. It’s not like I’ll be cruising through packed Italian streets at 200 mph—Lamborghini set up a day at a municipal airport with the runway as our playground. In such a safe environment, there’s no way I was going slow unless something ridiculous happened. Something like, say, a speed restrictor on the engine.
The Reventón flashed to the front door of the Lamborghini headquarters, and although it looks stealthy, functionally it is quite the opposite—you hear it long before you see it. I checked out the new aeronautic touches, like a display option for the gauges that mimics the cockpit of a fighter jet. Lamborghini also introduced a G-force meter which displays drive forces--longitudinal acceleration during acceleration or braking and transversal acceleration around bends--and projects them onto a 3-D grid above the tachometer.
Heatproof LEDs are used for brake and indicator lights on the back because of the proximity to the engine. And speaking of the engine—it’s impossible to ignore, since it consumes practically all of the rear and is auspiciously visible through the glass “hood.”
I prepared to take hold of the wheel and burn across the countryside, when one of the Lamborghini representatives delivered a blow as deadly as a matador’s sword but with the grace of a one-legged ballerina: “Mr. Snyder, we have a speed limiter on the engine that keeps it at 130."
A disappointment, to be sure, but I can handle 130 mph, I thought to myself. It’s not great, but we can work around it. “No, Mr. Snyder, kilometers, not miles. It’s the speed limit in Italy, and we want to be safe.” And there goes the glory.
For the next three hours, we pushed the Reventón from 0 to 130 (around 80 mph) over and over again (see the video below), not even challenging the V12 but certainly testing the cooling system for the ceramic disc brakes. And as I turned a corner listening to the pitch-perfect roar of the engine, lining up on the runway, I realized how fine-tuned the power was in the machine. It hummed with excitement in a way that felt almost like it was alive. Too bad that at 80 mph, the thing was barely even half awake.
What Lamborghini realized with the Reventón is that you don't need the girl on the hood. The fantasy now is for raw power—a fantasy more subversive than ever in an age where innovative, gas-sipping hybrid concepts far outnumber the audacious supercars at auto shows. With a space-shuttle thruster for an engine, an original body engineered to outrageous perfection and a through-the-roof price tag, Lamborghini is certainly hoping to elevate the Reventón to legendary status among the rarefied supercar elite. Unfortunately, with a rev-limiter standing in the way, it’s a bit difficult to tell if it’s truly succeeded.

Final Lamborghini Reventon delivered to customer in UK

Lamborghini's Reventon supercar is one of the most exclusive cars on the planet, with just 20 examples produced by the Italian marque. This week, Lamborghini announced that the final Reventon had been delivered, this time to a customer in Britain who was "understandably delighted".

A British sales manager for Lamborghini's dealership in Birmingham accompanied the customer to the Sant'Agata factory near Bologna, where Lamborghini's president and CEO, Stephan Winkelmann, personally presented the Reventon.

The buyer, who wished to remain anonymous, said that he was committed to driving his car rather than simply garaging it, so the last example may well be seen throughout Britain at Lamborghini, motorsport and social events.

Lamborghini's Reventon, which has a V12 engine outputting around 650hp (485kW) and a top speed in excess of 211mph, has captured the public's attention with its stunning styling and performance prowess. Lamborghini claims that all the Reventon supercars were sold prior to its public reveal in September 2007, but some of the purchasers have since sold the car on for hefty premiums.

Back in October we reported that a Reventon owned by ex-professional footballer Hugh McAuley was for sale in the UK and then in January this year news came out reporting that Connecticut firm Putnam Leasing has one available for loan.

Another anonymous customer was also selling his Reventon for €1,590,000 (approximately $2,344,000), suggesting that the cars could still be available for some time to come.

Lamborghini Reventón Number 20 delivered –
The highly exclusive limited edition is complete
Sant’Agata Bolognese, 5th December 2008 - A super sports car, yet one that defies
comparison – the Lamborghini Reventón is both an ultimate driving machine and
limited work of art – with a total of only 20 built and a price of one million Euro
(excl. tax), every Reventón is highly exclusive and virtually unique. The Reventón
bearing the number 20/20 has now been delivered to its proud owner – thus
completing the series.
Highly skilled craftsmanship
Each Reventón was produced with extremely skilled and high-precision
craftsmanship in Sant’Agata Bolognese, the home of the brand and the birthplace
of all super sports cars bearing the sign of the bull. “The Reventón, however, is the
most extreme of all – a superlative on wheels. Based on the technical
underpinnings of the Murciélago, we have concentrated and further enhanced the
brand’s DNA – its genetic code,” says Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of
Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A., who personally handed over Reventón Number 20
to its new owner at the factory.
Enjoy the incomparable driving pleasure
20 friends and collectors of Lamborghini cars – who all wish to remain anonymous
– now own this unique piece. Most of them view the Reventón not only as the
highlight of their collection, but also want to enjoy the intensity of the
incomparable driving pleasure. Ultimately, the Reventón, aside from its extreme
form, boasts the full technical and dynamic competence of Lamborghini’s 12-
cylinder sports cars. This means the breathtaking performance of 650 hp and a
top speed of 340 km/h. It also means absolute reliability and the feasibility of
everyday use.
A future legend
This offers all other Lamborghini fans the chance of at least occasionally coming
across a Reventón, be it on a beautiful mountain road, at the side of a race track or
at an exclusive social event. And one thing is also certain – in future, a few of the 20
Reventón will be available for admiration in a museum. Because Lamborghini has
not only created a design masterpiece, it has also added another classic to the rich
history of the brand. The lucky owners can be justly pleased
