|

Very interested in the new engines as well.... 8) 8) 8) |
Thaaaaaaaaaaaanks :D
|
Thanks but I´m afraid that´s pretty old
|
Can't wait for Brabus to do their thing on the new S-Klasse.
|
Didnt Top Gear show a brief cameo of the S class in the May 9 episode?
|
That's nice. I'm happy they went for the maybach rear lights.
I can see where their design scheme is headed... but I don't think it suits the M-class. |
Thank you, very interesting :D
|
nice nice....ready to see it kick audis and bimmers....
|
cool, id like seein also the face-lifted 7 series
|
Its seems that merc is going to keep on with similar patterns to the current S-class, on the other hand im looking forward to seeing the new 7 series BMW, which for me is going to be more difficult(i think that this is not a difficult achievement),once i see the current car very hideous, and a big failure as well
|
I am really looking forward to what the finish product will be like.
I'm sure all the engineering and technological gadgets will be mind blowing!! |
ooo, im glad it doesn't look to similar to the Maybacks
|
the front looks exactly the same as the old one...

i love mercedes. i never even considered the goodies the maybach would lend to help out the mercedes line.
|
ooh. very interesting.

God I hate PDFs.
Am I the only one who doesn't really see a difference? Boring barge... --Dan |
I love the way the new cars look. Im glad they choose the direction that they did.

and just all the little attention to detail make it an awesome car. |
Have ridden / driven most every MB model in modern production history (dating back from the 70s). Have driven Gullwings, etc.
Like I said...boring barge. --Dan |
It will be fantastic a Brabus S-Class against the new Alpina 7 series

Hahahahah, knowing that current models would blow your (beautifel)550 out of the way   Brabus, AMG, etc.... 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) |
Blow it away? Yeah...with the crap interior, or the piss poor handling? Or the fact that you fall asleep at the wheel at 160 mph because you're bored? Oh, and in a straight line...keep dreaming. :D
funny how you're comparing rotten apples that came out now to a ferrari that came out in '97. :) --Dan |
Speedkillar: I know you're way biased for MB, but have you ever driven any of the cars you're referring to? I'm curious, because (and I don't mean to be critical, just honest), it seems as if you're guilty of what 99.99% of car forum members are: bench racing. No first hand experience...
--Dan |
bobafett, do u have first hand experience

And yes, I have driven AMG models(sadly not the new one...yet), thats where I got my passion for MB, and I've also driven M models. Whats your point  But, I have to agree, I've never driven a ferrari, and I would like to. Maybe you should invite me and let me have a go at the beast :D  |
Amanthapar: yes. Read above.
Speedkillar: whenever you're in town, you're more than welcome to drive my car. Explain the bias here. The only category in which a Brabus (no AMG car I've driven so far can out accelerate the 550. And that includes the latest ones, save the CL65) powerd vehicle will beat i tout is straight line acceleration. However, if you look at the CdA, then it's obvious that given the same powerplant (no Mb comes stock with a 700bhp 7.4l V12) or comparable, there's no way the MB can keep up. It's totally apples vs. oranges. --Dan |

And I'll keep in mind your offer, thanks :D |
Well...
Not as radical as new 7 series! I suppose the Merc goes in the moderate way |
