575 Replacer...
If that's the result, then hell yeah, I like it.. Except for the fact that it has a little too much of 612 Scaglietti in it...

Although its a few years away from production yet so we shouldn't start getting excited it getting down about it too soon ;) |

It is also a much more comfortable, cruising car... there will be no Fiorano handling pack on the 612, but the 575/600 Imola have the Fiorano kit and the new Handling GTC Pack 8) |
wow that is a very weird ferrari! and i guess i like it a bit... i just need a back pic anda vid to decide.... but it looks weird but the good way
It looks a bit more aggressive than the Scaglietti with the bigger side air intakes, are there any pictures of the back?
holy shit, how big is it?
My friend pointed out to me that it looks like an extra necksupport in the back of the car.. Which means probably photoshopped 612 :(
holy shit, how big is it?
love that pic , it looks stunning , sad that is a pshop
looks like it just wants to eat something up...looks so aggressive which is a plus and minus IMO.
Thank God that Road and Track is an unreliable source...of spy pics at least. I really don't think that the Imola will look like that, not after all that criticism and controversy 612 got for its looks. I say the pic above has something to do with the prototype of Imola having a shortened 612 shell as camouflage to trick spys. There will be a Barchetta (dinghy) version.
false shell *note the broad haunches http://www.autothing.com/images/Fun%...mola-600-2.jpg http://www.autothing.com/images/Fun%...mola-600-3.jpg |
I dont know but i kinda really like that the way it is........it is almost like a complete 612
yuck
its a scaglietti combined with a pininfarina rosso
it looks better than the 612 at least in that pic...but man look at that grille!...it's fucking huge!!...i really don't think it will look like this... :?

It's still a Ferrari  (j/k) On the black one, if you don't look at the front bumper, you can see a bit of porsche to it.

Yeah the Road and track version looks too cartoony in my opinion with its exaggerated haunches and tiny space above the beltline.
Ahhh the 550/575 design is a timeless classic! |

yea these "spy pics" look like shit.... i hope they dont start messing with the 550/575 because its jsut so damn beautiful.
what the fuck?!! i hope not!
the 575 is an amazing looking car. the car on the front of that mag looks ugly as sin. just weird. no. aaaahhhhhhhh |
I almost choke on my coke......but I kinda like it too, tho the grill is a bit too big for my taste. Anyways...gotta wipe my desk first, got coke on it now :(
why is ferrari making everything so smooth and bubbly, and above all, sedate?
the 575 is MEAN! it is an awestriking car. this blows. |
if u look close enough u can see where the fornt grille has been shopped on to the car, doesnt look good IMO, looks likes its smiling :?
mm, dosnt look bad but it should look more liek a 575 and less like a 612. they are trying to be too futureistic
first of all 550/575m is gorgeous, second of all that new red replacemnt looks fuckin wicked 3rd it wont look like that though those are jus fake pics that came from a 612 and then edited 4th no matter what the replacemt will look gorgeous if not in pics then in person as all Ferraris do INCLUDING 612
I think road and track were just making a photo shopped image of what it might look like after having seen the spy pics and hearing diffferent rumors.
I love this car!! I hope it will get a rosso-like rear.
looks better than a supermodle on lingerie!
if it didnt have the same goofy smile as the 612 i'd like it, hopefully this doesnt become a ferrari design trend.
Whatever guys... you all know that this is a PS, and that R&T are quite ureliable with "spy" pics...
it remember me the old Pininfarina Rosso. I like it.
I really like it and i would buy one if i had the money to get one. I hope the replacement for the 575 will look like this one. :D
could it just be for engine testing?
owowowowow
nice pretty good thanks for the images |

goofy smile? lol have u ever seen a 612 in the flesh moving on a road? it has a crazy evil smile. like it just laughs in an evil way over its "competitors" which there are none really, lol db9 what a joke, vanquish yes, db9 and glass starter ahahahahahah
Ummm...
To be honest, the top pic looks a HELL of a lot like my entry to this year's Peugeot design contest, except that mine has a lot more edges (like a gallardo) and looks narrower, and doesn't have a front grille... I just find the coincidence it a bit strange, that's all. |
Thank god it's a photoshop. I guess I am one of the onle people on JW who dislikes this design.

Don't take these PS too seriously. I'm sure the new "600 Imola" will be awesome. And besides, for those that don't like the current lineup of Ferraris (aka. 612, Enzo), Ken is being replaced with the guy that designed the new Mini... not sure if its a good thing or a bad thing...
omg the guy that designed the mini ur fuckin kiddin me man, where are the guys that made the 355, 550 and 360 who were those? wheres those ken? or another guy??
I think it looks pretty good except the silver grille in the front, I prefer them in black... but these days, Ferrari are too lazy to design a new cars... F430 = Modified F360 front + Enzo Tail and F600 = Scageletti + 575 hood...
sigh.. what's Ferrari thinking? they have so much money which they can design a new cars easily... |
Ferrari always have been ahead of their time with design. i look at the 456, 355, 575 now and still think they look better than so many other new models out today. Their designers are just the best, but would u expect any less from Pinnafarina? personally i felt the 612 was a bit disappointing (not saying it looks bad tho, it still looks very nice), and i'm hoping the 600 Imola won't be so closely related to it because the beauty with Ferraris is that while keeping certain styling elements the same, they still have a lot of diversity (unlike BMW/Mercedes/Porsche who seem to be very conservative with styling from model to model)
but i know watever the 600 Imola will end up looking like, it will definately be one hell of a car in person. but in the meantime, all we can say for the 575 is RESPECT!! |

What I don't understand is why can't pininfarina get an italian to design the cars??? |
Although I don't think there's anything wrong with the Japanese Ken, since his sketches of the 612 were much better than the final execution, I do agree that Pininfarina should hire a European designer, if there aren't any good Italians.
there has to be good Italian designers i bet most of the ppl at Pininfarina are Italians and plus Italians are the most known when it comes to style. But in the end u gotta remember this, Even if Ken or whoever is the main stylist designs the car, Pininfarina still has to like it and can change things, and then same when Ferrari sees it, its not like what Ken does is set in stone it has to pass what Pininfarina and Ferrari like
