You're all welcome. :D
Now, the bad news: - The rear window is still plastic (but, who cares anyway?). - The U.S. market may have to wait a little while... |
wow, the car looks amazing without a hradtop, and in silver :) :D
|
For some reason i thought the f430 spider would not look as good as the 360 spider, but holy shit was i wrong!!

If you would like to visit Ferrari's stand at the show to see the car personally, please fill in the on-line form. As for the berlinetta, the F430 Spider version features advanced aerodynamics developed in collaboration with the F1 team, while the shape of the car recalls Ferrari's 1961 racing models - in particular the 156 F1 winner of that year's title driven by Phil Hill. More hints at the car's F1 pedigree can be seen in the adoption of the electronic differential (E-Diff), the starter button and the steering wheel-mounted commutator switch, the manettino, that governs the car's set-up. The F430 Spider boasts a compact, fully automatic electric hood that takes up relatively little space, despite the uncompromising central-rear engine layout. __________________ |
this is the car to get until the new Porsche Turbo comes out of course, but no Ferrari has really excited me until this F430 came out, it is great
|
Thanks for all the high res pictures!
|
Holy shit!!!! :D Thanks for the pics!!!!!
I didn't think the convertible would look good.... boy was I WRONG!!! Sliver w/ red interior is BEAUTIFUL!!!! Although I must admit I still prefer the coupe. But.... I wouldnt mind having one of these either  1500kg??? Thats pretty damn heavy... :( |

Here some other info (actually not so differnet to Nuno's post, but nevertheless worthwhile reading):

I'm not a big fan of cabrios. I really prefer the coupe versions, but this one looks good. The photos with the grey one are amazing.
But what I'm really waiting for is the CS version :P Can't wait to see the first oficial photos.... |
this F430 Spider is way much better than the 360 spider...and the muscular 430 looked much better in convertible...thanks for the pics
|
I'm falling in love with the Spyder but the coupe is still my fave!
BTW thanx a lot for the hi-res pix nuno, dingo, and nejcdolinsek :) |
dang I should have started saving photos from the end rather than the beginning of the thread...
awesome photos tho. the car looks so sweet. I do kinda think its weird how the bulges in the rear bonnet aren't centered on the roll bars but offset to the outside. Odd choice |
Holy crap...this makes the F430 look stuning...I am shocked at how good it looks! 8) Thanks for the pics!

Thanks to everyone for contributin - no doubt a car like this causes a buzz. I've yet to digest all the info from the hard top f430, and then this comes out so soon - it's like ferrari overload.
|
I cant wait for some pics with a different front bumper to come out. I dont like those hudge round holes up front. They should have been more square.
