2005 MINI Cooper S

First MINI on jw :) ?

Got this Cooper S 3 months ago,already 9000km of great fun :D

...
Don't really know what to say , think everbody knows the Cooper S :P ?

What's on it ? ;

- 17"S-spoke alloy wheel
- Air Conditioning Auto
- Leather Gravity Black
- Limited Slip Diff
- Anthracite roof lining
- Electric Panoramic Glass Roof
- Xenon Headlights

Plans for the future;

For now the only thing I want to change are the wheels, don't like those white wheels anymore :? Think I'll go for the R90 "Italian Job" wheels
 http://www.mc40.com/homepage.mac.com...umbnails/4.jpg

Maybe also change the taillights to the ones with a white blinker, but it isn't that big a difference...don't know what to do yet :|

Works engine tuning would be great :o
but this'll be my sister's 1st car from november'06, don't think 210bhp is such a great idea :P

Some pictures I made this morning
http://img79.imageshack.us/img79/453...bbas3kw.th.jpg

Do like the wheels this way *brakedust*
http://img220.imageshack.us/img220/5...ers27fk.th.jpg http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/4...pers1kr.th.jpg

Then made a soundclip, exhaust sounds great when you go off the throttle at 3000-4000 8) To bad quality s*cks, made it with sonycybershot :?

First MINI on jw ?

Nope.. probably the first BINI, but not the first Mini! :D :D

Congrats, it's a very fun car to drive!!

Just a thing, the LSD was an optional, right?
I think it only comes standard in the Park Lane special edition.

sameerrao 05-24-2006 10:00 AM

LSD was standard when the original Mini was on sale .... I hope you know what I mean

ckakats 05-24-2006 11:25 AM

I have a Mini Cooper S too!! :D It's a 2006 model, i have it for about a month now and it is PERFECT :!: If you want i can post pics by tomorrow..

No.1 05-24-2006 11:37 AM

I quite like the colour combo and the wheels - in fact... I prefer the stock ones over the ones you want to put :?

What I miss - and it's something that I really like in the new Minis - are the fog lights... they're supercool!! :P

Thanks :)

At first I wanted to put those lights on, but then after seeing how they are mounted on the car and how much it would cost me( :o €630) , I changed my mind.

I got it because this one has the "chili package" .
But you can also have it as a single option, is about €175 I think.

 I'm very lucky my parents are paying for all this.
No idea how much the insurance is..
Next car will be my dad's current daily driver, E46 M3.

It nice, but I wouldn't have chosen it if I had the chance ordering a new one.
I'm second owner, we found it in the MINI NEXT program = second hand but you get the same conditions you get on a new one --> 2year warranty & 2year assistance.
New one woud have been Chilired + black roof/mirrors and those wheels I posted :) Too bad the waitinglist was 4months to get a new one :(

You can buy directly to Hella, instead of going trough BMW.

No jcw motortuning, because by the end of this year this'll be my sister's car, she'll have to learn how to drive in this...so 210bhp isn't such a good idea :)

Cigarette1 06-06-2006 03:14 AM

JCW carbon air inlet

TT 06-15-2006 12:44 PM

I'd paint them all like the rest of the bodywork ;) or get carbonfiber roof which lowers center of gravity :D

LotusGT1 06-15-2006 01:57 PM

Carbon roof seems like a good idea :)

Nice shots, where did you get that awesome 'ring sticker?

TT 11-10-2006 01:39 AM

nice shots, and it's brillant to have somebody else taking pics of you on the NS!

As for the sticker, they sell them at the NS's café

davide 11-10-2006 03:32 AM

The Mini is a good starters car, then you'll have the GT3 so just be patient... ;)

Handling was great, you really "feel" the car.

On the straits didn't go for it 100%, more like 70%.., since it were my first laps, didn't know what kind of corner is coming :? But I think once you really know the circuit you need more power for those long straits 8)

Zot09 11-10-2006 09:00 PM

I would deffinitly pay someone to get one of those stickers for me!

ViperASR 11-10-2006 10:50 PM

I deff want one of those stickers for my car. Also love the combo with ur dads GT3

TT 11-11-2006 09:11 AM

Too easy to put such sticker on your car if you never paid a visit :P

I waited my first visit before putting one on my car :)

And don't try to tell me it's too far away from the US :D it's still unfair to have one shipped to you :P

Zot09 11-11-2006 06:38 PM

^^^ please?

hahahaha just kidding
