guess who's back. back again
Zfrk's back. tell a friend.
yes, i'm coming out from under my rock and making an appearance after who-knows-how-long. hope the atmosphere here is somewhat similar to the old days. Haven't been on forums in a long, long, time. |
Damn! Out of the the woodwork.

There are people who check the forums regularly, and fewer who post. But they are familiar names :) |
Before my time I guess lol

hahaha. actually the missing names are all over here:laugh: |
I never did make it over there. I blame RC and Global Warming.
How is it? |
It's ok. posting rate is nothing what JW used to be, and really it's only the old names posting anyway. There's not a whole lot that fuels posting either (ie no flame wars). Dunno how it's been over here since I have no idea when i last logged in.

We need to spark a fire under the butt of MW. Sadly, much has changed in the lives of many of the core group that the chances of a resurgence of the glory days are slim to none.

I do wonder how the 'dark side' managed to never grow despite having it's own user-based content for years. Spammers excluded, we've continued to grow (in terms of real users sign up at least). |
TAU gets 2-3 newbies a week it seems. But like the old days, they stay quiet. I seem to remember JW at it's peak attracting at least 5/day it seemed. I don't see a 3 hour quest to get a specific lurker to make their first post happening anytime soon sadly.
TT is still posting away pics and the car sighting's board is still active. But I do think that time and age has pulled many of us away from forums and into real life. I know that was my reason for dropping off the radar for so long. When I started posting over there again, I picked up like I had never left. Hijacked a couple of threads with my return, alone  Quote:

I would love to know what all those liberal leftwing Bush-bashing America-hatng obama-loving cocksuckers have to say about things now??? 2 years later and now what? All those "oooh evil Bush" and "obama is the future" bleeding heart whining euros are astonishingly silent I bet... ;) And as fo rthe rest of the US-based treasonous obama-bootlicking Bush-bashers - they can all go fuck themselves and quite frankly not having to wade through their anti-capitalist anti-American pro-european drivel on a daily basis is quite relaxing.:tongue::biggrin::rofl: There - now that the air is cleared, let's talk cars ;) |

Probably helps that there only about 5 Americans, including myself, on that board. Ah, whatever. So what the hell is going on in the car universe anyway? With all the new shit BMW has been pinching off lately, it'shard to keep up with everyone else:angry: |

I guess the .Gov taking over GM and Chrysler must have not made the talking points either? We are stuck with killer Toyotas, bland Mazda and fast Fords among other things. |
welcome back, guy with the bunny avatar.
Like everyone else, I'm at fault for the lack of activity these days. I still attend plenty of events, but rarely have the ambition/time to follow up by posting pics and a write-up. I just checked out the Barett-Jackson auction this weekend and the Formula SAE West competition last weekend. I doubt I'll get around to posting either of them. Ich habe keine Zeit. |
yeah I unfortunately dont have much time for the forums anymore either I check in every once in a while. Life is getting hectic for sure. I miss the glory days on here for sure! I tend to stick to a mazda forum and thats it these days.
