Planet evo KTM usually makes bikes, but it’s now branching out into proper four-wheeled modes of transport (see below). We also have a look at what alternative fuels mean for the evo reader and there’s the brilliant Christmas evo essentials as well. If you’re looking for last-minute gifts, there’s a coachbuilt Ferrari from Holland and, for a gay friend perhaps, the world’s fastest convertible Driven Porsche 911 GT3 RS, Mazda 3 MPS, Mini Cooper, Fiat Panda 100 HP, Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG, Vauxhall Monaro VXR 500, TVR Sagaris, Land Rover Freelander, Honda Civic Type-S Letters Specially for the 100th issue, we publish the most bizarre letter we have ever received. Familiar with the Ferrari F43? Neither were we… 100th Issue Who’d have thought it, eh? This celebration issue is ten tenths of everything we’ve brought to you over the last eight and a bit years. We hope you’ve enjoyed the ride as much as we have The ten worst cars we’ve ever tested Which car was so embarrassing to be seen in that no-one would drive it? Which long-termer was so bad we sent it back? Which car was so ugly we refused to feature it? All the answers are here Our greatest pics Our photographers select their favourite shots from the last 100 issues and explain what made these particular clicks of the shutter so special Ten other things called ‘evo’ Richard Porter discovers benevolent dictators, high-energy pet-food and blokey adhesives Ten fastest Meant to be the ‘ten fattest’, but due to a clerical error we ended up with such things as an Enzo and a Radical on the West Circuit. Never mind Ten silliest Sofa, office, double-decker. Sounds like the output of a random word generator, but in fact some of the weird things we drove around the West Circuit The Wall of Shame Now, don’t take offence if you see your face here – one person’s shame is another’s fame The best of evo Extraordinary cars, extraordinary locations, extraordinary luck. A behind-the-scenes look at the workings of the (mostly) well-oiled evo machine on our favourite stories The 100th issue evo quiz How much do you really know about this magazine? Over to Peter ‘Magnus’ Tomalin, who has started so he’ll finish Subscriptions If I’ve told you once I’ve told you a hundred times… Long-term tests Check out Neil Carey cocking a rear wheel in Harry’s new long-term Clio 197 (of course, designers always reckon they’re a bit handy – just ask Chee-Chiu Lee about the Chrysler 300C). There’s a new Subaru on the fleet, too, and Brett Fraser is having trouble with his cat The Knowledge The death of Norwegian playwright Henrik Ibsen, the San Francisco Earthquake and New Balance running shoes are all also celebrating a centenary this year. Now that’s knowledge We couldn’t have done it without… A cast of thousands. This one’s for all of you http://www.evo.co.uk/images/front_pi...o_211311_5.jpg |
