JW blocked at uni!

I was at uni today doing research for an assignment, and felt like going to JW after I had finished. Unfortunately, it was blocked! Travesty! It works in the law library, where I can go due to my wondrous status as a law student, but not in the "commoners" library.

Subversive contents ? :P

It didn't say anything specific, but it seemed the adult content filter didn't take too lightly to it. I can't even go to football websites, or check the local TV guide. It seems the Law School has more freedoms when it comes to the internet. :P

thats sucks ... the first thing you need to do is make good frinds with the librarian ;) .....

Don't they have wireless connection for laptops. They have in my school and people whose websites get blocked on normal computers use the laptops to get on them, the connection by wireless isn't blocked.

Not really.

Not sure. I don't bring mine to uni. I've never seen the need. The Law Library has no restrictions and so I go there unless it isn't open. I can just go there unless it's before 9 or after 6 on weekdays or weekends.
