Amazing NSX-R video

Saw that on S2ki, great editing and cinematography.

That was pretty epic

What a beautiful video :-)

Rather painful watch really. An agonizing 5 minutes that I didnt even get through, the car was featured for about 1 minute tops.
Great editing, but it looks like a classic filler where you need to "make a movie" but only have about a minute of good footage of your subject - so you fill the remainder with unrelated artsy fluff. Sorry guys, if you say you have a video about the NSX-R, then show the bloody NSX-R, not some wanna-be Roman Polanski artsy film ;) |
I'm going to have to agree with RC here.
The last thing a car enthusiast wants to have happen in a video showcasing a car they are passionate about, is for that car to be replaced by uncessary images to lengthen the video or be unsuccessfully artful. Lose the girl on the swing. Lose the girl on the piano. Lose the guy on the violin. Continue with the shots of the car at rest during these building moments. If you just have to use shots of music being played, then make them shots (quick shots) of whoever performed the piece. Anything else ends up looking disconnected. The shots where onlookers are staring at the car are perfect. Everything else worked. |
I doubt the creators were low on quality footage of the NSX.. You've got to admit the amount of production and effort put into the photography and filming of this movie is much higher than your typical car enthusiasts videos.
They simply set out to create something more than just a video of a NSX-R on a track. With that said, I fast forwarded through the girl swinging and violinist. Great photography and editing though. |
