 At first it looked like it was photoshoped but then you see the following pics...holy crap
Wow , impressive flight !! but less than Mercedes at Le Mans
Wow  Amazing how although it lifted off the ground and flew 142 feet the car stayed almost level  If there had been any other cars on the track the driver may well have been six feet under by now.
the best flight was that of the merc did a whole somersault lol
hmmm sweet pics love em lol .. you know ..if the car lifts up a bit .. the downforce from the venturi dissapates and the shape of the car acts like a wing of an airplane lol .... soo YAY for aston !! JW top tip .... if you ever want to made a plane out of cars .. make sure to use dbr-9's as its wings  8) 8) |
^^exactly, the underbody is flat so as to make low pressure beneath the car which glues it to the track. When you reach the limit of downforce though, it's like a jet fighter taking off. In such light cars at high speeds even the slightest raise of the nose can make you fly.

Holy Crap!!
Looks like he slipped off the track at a point where the track dips off and he landed on the lower section. It doesn't look like he hit anything that actually launched him into the air.
ROYAL AIRFORCE
fighting dbr-9s i wonder if there is a video footage if so some1 post it up. Pok |
wow!! :faint: i need new underwear just looking at the pictures.
Unbelievable the car didn't flip over
