Its the one where jeremy reviews a peugeot 306 GTI-6 a golf GTI and a fiat bravo HGT

I really am struggling to find this episode

looks like it was pre the new series of Top Gear... so it is considerably older, mid-late 90's

It's from 1998, but I'm not sure which episode.

Because of the numberplates it must be after October 1997 and I thought the Golf IV GTI was not for sale yet in the UK in October 1997, sales only started in December, but it could have been aired on December 4th, 1997. It can't be from 1999, 2000 or 2001 because Clarkson had left Top Gear in those years.

This does not appear to be Top Gear (although some international pages think that it is)... going through the classic and current Top Gear episode spreadsheet the 306 wasn't compared to the other 2.... it could be one of JC's DVD/Vids from the 97-98 era
