Joey Hand was the BMW PTG driver. He's a local guy living here in Sacramento. Our BMWCCA president put out an e-mail that said he was doing okay and was icing his elbow in the hotel room and was feeling a little sore. He thanked PTG for making such a strong car and the inventors of the HANS device for keeping his head straight.

Yeah, it's pretty amazing...all those barrel rolls and the passenger compartment remains completely intact...

Yup.. looks just like a turtle in it's shell..

I'm wondering if the driver knew that big jump in the grass was coming or not.. Either way, it was one hell of a ride!
