NBA - Scottie Pippens #33 retire today

In tonights game Bull vs Lakers Scottie Pippens #33 will retire. For me he is one of the greaters players ever played this game. i'm still impressed of his defensive skills and how unselfish he played. somebody else watching this game?

More information here http://www.nba.com/bulls

BTW, its very quiet in here NBA related... the season has started :D[/url]

I think a few detroiter's were on the team too... mabey Bill Lambere? Dennis Rodman? Isaiah Thomas....?

i still dont really like that pros are able to play in the olympics :(

seeing that Pippins jersey is retired... it definately goes to show how good a team can be with three of the greatest players the game had seen at once (Dennis Rodman, Scottie Pippen, Micheal Jordan... 4/5 years as NBA champs)

EDIT:
Scottie stopped playing in 2004 @ 39 years old

im not the biggest NBA fan... but if detroit does well in the first round of the playoffs... then i become a 'fan' again

its not like hockey to me... which is exciting all the time :-d also... baseball is still my 'true' sport... but its been less exciting since the 94 season :( and other more recent reasons

His first year was 87-88. In other words he was in the nba before you were born.

Yeh, he's old enough to be my father.
