racer_f50 12-15-2004 01:06 PM

hope this comes to the US branches as well, that would be sweet :)

sentra_dude 12-15-2004 01:13 PM

Hahaha...Blockbuster no longer has a monopoly so they are getting rid of an idiotic policy...wow! I'm glad there are other places putting pressure on Blockbuster, maybe they will also lower the price of renting a movie, because its exorbitant right now.

Vansquish 12-15-2004 02:25 PM

Glad to see that this is going to happen, my blockbuster membership just got more valuable hehehe.

gigdy 12-15-2004 03:42 PM

RC45 12-15-2004 04:10 PM

Their $30 a month 3/movies per day option is still the best deal.

haha, the power of Netflix et al. kind of a weird policy tho. a due date, but a one week grace period? i wonder how successful this attempt will be...

LOL, funny story, a guy on another form I visit does the same with Netflix. But, the last time he sent them back, he sent them the copied disc and not the original! LOL

I couldn't care less, I don't rent movies often and when I do, I return them the day after watching it.

yes that is our best deal but you do have to return the 3 before you can get 3 more but it is good because you are never going to get late fees and there's no due date. It's convenient on our end aswell since we don't have to deal with any actual funds. There's a game version aswell which is a very good idea.

I've known about this no due date thing for about a month now but we aren't allowed to say anything about it contractually and the last time something secret was mentioned here it had some large reprocutions. There are some other great changes coming in the near future aswell trust me.

But hey I don't need that movie pass deal since I get 5 rentals a week free and most of those are used on pre-street movies. :D And the 30% discount ain't too shabby either.
