It's old but sure need to be posted here in the right place.
Anyone now from when/where Jeremy Clarkson did this? |

I saw the said car last year, a local Detroit man owns it, and has commissioned a second model (3rd) be made; a Ferrari P4 (and p4 spider) that he claims are even more detailed/accurate then the 312 :) Full topic of the car show http://www.nthimage.com/create_hits/...337%20copy.jpg http://www.nthimage.com/create_hits/...342%20copy.jpg http://www.motorworld.net/forum/imag.../wol_error.gifThis image has been resized. I was totaly taken by it when I saw the movie for the first time a couple of years ago.

Impress me...
When someone builds a working scale model of an Alfa Bimotore then I'll be impressed.:-P

The engine: "It is fuel injected and a dry sump!"
This man is amazing, beautiful work! |
I could be wrong, but if I remember rightly that was part of the Jeremy Clarkson/BBC series "Motorworld", which aired sometime in the late 90's (97 maybe?). I know a highlight video was released by the BBC but I've no idea if it was rereleased on DVD at all.
An amazing achievement though. I'd love to see a scale Mk.III or Mk.IV GT40, just to hear the scale V8! |
That's an absolutely amazing car. He was really dedicated to getting that thing right. Ferarri should buy it from it him so it can be given a proper display.
I mentioned this in the other thread, but that car's displacement is not to scale. That's why the sound is so surprisingly good. |
