2010 Jaguar XJ doesn't look like the one from the 60's!

There's not much to infer from the overhead shot, but everything points to the fact that this will be possibly the most revolutionary Jaguar. |
I really liked the classic XJ look. All this modern stuff just doesn't quite cut it.

oh god, another boring sedan???

I like the XF,this one looks good so far.

It looks good, but the old stuff is better. I have a similar view about most modern things. I recently got a cheap-ass student version of Microsoft Office 2007 purely so I could view docx documents. That is the only good thing about it. Office 2003 is so much better. Just like Windows XP is better than Vista. Or how Windows 98 is better than XP. Hell, I really liked MS-DOS.
The point is, some things just aren't meant to change. You dick around with something great, chances are, you'll fuck up. This looks pretty good, but it's not an XJ. It's something else. It's nothing special. It's just another luxury car. You'd only buy it because your existing XJ doesn't work properly anymore. |

true, you must have had a jaguar before in your time, it is always the gripe I hear from Jag owners, that they can't seem to keep the older much sexier jags running |

The xf looks great
I think that the older jag's look a bit dated now. And i think that the xf will good in 20/30 years from now. http://www.motorworld.net/gallery/da...-2009_028a.jpg http://www.motorworld.net/gallery/da...-2009_027a.jpg |
^My only gripe with the XF's design is the featureless flank. And the XK just barely gets on by with the hard line on the side.

Well, the XF has been highly rated. I think with that more modern design, Jaguar can complement it with the classic lines of the XJ.
