Moon eclipse - or however you call it - don't miss it!!

Just went outside to watch if it had started yet. I wish I had a good digi cam to take some pics!! A little part (lets say 1/10th) of the moon is allready dark and it's like that part round it looks a bit blue. Anyway, I just posted this so some of you go outside and watch it from time to time. It's too bad it's to cold - otherwise I would stay outside a while!

It sucks here, we have a stationary front and the sky is covered :(

Nice pics TT. I went out to look for the moon but it's still too bright out there. Guess I'll miss the total eclipse :(

I've just gone outside again. The moon is now completely dark (except a very very small line but that's gone in a minute) and it looks a bit brow - red...

If you think for a minute, the earth is now blocking the light from the sun completly so logically we couldn't see it anymore now but because the light beams are redirected-reguided because of the earths atmosphere we can still see it a little and that's also the reason why the color is like this

Full moon eclipse are cool, but I remeber the partial (but almost total) sun eclipse in 2000 (was it 2000 or 1999), was way cooler ;)

I've seen it. It was quite red here, about 99% of it was covered, cool site I wish I had a digi cam.
