Sucks if HD-DVD wins cause Blu Ray discs hold more data..
I still think its too early to decide.. and definitely way to early to buy either players. |
BetaMax lost... Blu-Ghey will lose.. ;)
Sony is good at backing the loser :P |
Yep I'll be waiting to see which one comes out on top as well. Have you seen how expensive those new blu ray players are!!! Damn :o
|
isn't sony the biggest player in the digital disc format market?
if "blue-ghey" loses, i'll be very surprised. |

I'd be very disappointed if Blu-Ray wouldn't become the new standard. I'd happily pay the extra price, however most people probably wouldn't.[/quote] everything costs more at first, blu-ray just hit the market. but based off the name alone i'd hd-dvd would be a bigger hit. though in all honesty i haven't heard much of HD-DVD other than in reference and BLU-RAY has been everywhere. both in advertising and marketed producs. Time will tell though i think whoever gets as many bluray players and discs out first will be the winner, no matter what the name or technology. |
no
u can get a dvd player with divx capability for like 30cdn LOL |

HD-DVD will win.. by far..
|
I haven't gotten to see a HD-DVD being played, but the movie I saw on Blu-Ray looked amazing. The sales guy at Tweeter seemed to think that Blu-Ray was going to win out in the end due to greater movie studio backing. It is definitely too early to adopt either one, though.
