Polyphony Digital is making a motorcycle version of GT!!

Right now it is being called, Tourist Trophy: The Real Riding Simulator. I'm sure that name will change once the game finally comes out in the US.

I guess this could have gone into the games section, but since it is motorcycle specific, I wanted it to be placed here first until more info on the game is released.

Check out the video. The graphics look pretty damn good. Can't wait.

Well - Riding Spirits I and II already did this... maybe they hired the RS folks - RS was lacking cool replay features and some graphics enhancements - but otherwise was a fun and challenging game.

Hopefully PD won't turn out a Need for Speed Underground style game where people pull wild drifts and stunts instead of actually riding ;)

video looks fantastic i can't wait the game when it will released

Let's hope they do make an NTSC version that does come to the US... RS I was not easy to find, and they never made an NTSC RS II.

Bikes are a fringe market in the US... according to the mainstream.. at least that's what they want people to believe.

I played RS1, but never 2, for obvious reasons. RS was cool but it could have been much more. It was definately going in the right direction though. Yes the graphics were lacking, but I could care less about graphics when the game is spot on. I'm really hoping for the mechanics of GT2 with the graphical flair of GT4. If PD doesn't fuck it up, this could turn out to be something special. We'll see.

Wow, that video looks amazing...I would certainly like to hear more about this game. :D

I have both, and indeed especially the II is pretty good. I am not really interested in racing bikes, more in road versions, so I am looking forward to a GT on 2 wheels, we will see

While I cant deny that, at first, this video seemed to be of REAL bikes and guys (meaning it looks amazing), I wonder how this will affect in the release date for GT5 =(

They better have a huge farging colleciton of bikes.

I want some aweful ratty death traps from my past as well as the pre-modern and modern era super bikes.

Suzuki GT750 waterbus (most scary 10 minutes of my life)

Yamaha XS1100 (absolute lump of deadly pig iron - but did hold the record for "most people carried uphill while pulling away in 2nd gear at once at the Military Acadamy... 9 including me the rider..."

Honda CB650 (fast but deadly - for it's day)

TransAm 10-06-2005 12:29 PM

RG/RD 500 would be nice

Z1300-6 could be interesting in a sick and twisted kind of way.

sounds like an interesting game... it better have steering wheel support... even though its not perfectly sensicle... its definately better to have force feedback.

ive had a fasination with the race/road bike the Britten V1000, and i wont buy the game if its not in it :P

It will be interesting to see how they model the control.

After all, you initiate a turn on a motorcycle with a counter steer motion ;) - so I really hope someone develps an excellent realist force-feedback handle bar setup, that allows you to tip the bike into a bend with a quick counter steer stab of the inside wrist.. :D

That would really sort the men from the boys on the virtual race track ;) --- and then they should keep that control model for the controller as well

hehehe
