Shit thats a nice ass house right there down the tubes for just a watch, unbelievable.

I like expensive stuff but thats ridiculous

It's all worth it. Besides, you can't buy crap with $300K in CA. You'd have to live in somewhere like...Modesto...or something.

Anyways. Definitely worth $300K.

Well worry no more, because there's the Millenary MC12 Tourbillon made by one of Maserati's sponsors, Audemars Piguet.

Only 150 of these beauties will be built in Switzerland.
Some of the features include:
-Carbon fibre movement plate
-Aluminum pieces
-What Audemars Piguet calls "double rack-pinion" power reserve mechanism

The band is obviously in Maserati blue and the face is clear so that you can see every exquisite detailing. (Just look at that Audemars Piguet and Maserati inscriptions on the plates)

The other Maserati watch can go up to $30,000+ so this watches's price? I can't figure.

I'd have this watch over that silly Parmigiani Fleurier Bugatti Type 370 any day.

It looks too fidley and there's too much going on. My head would hurt just trying to figure out what time it is. Those small numbers on the right don't help in anyway.

that is way too much for a watch....

New Audemars Piguet watch celebrates Maserati MC12 victories

Maserati, and horological partner Audemars Piguet, are celebrating the success of the Maserati MC12 in the 2005 FIA GT Manufacturers’ Cup with the new and exclusive 'Millenary MC12 Tourbillon and Chronograph'. This watch carries the signature themes from the of the MC12 roadcar (white and blue), and will be produced in a limited series of 150 in platinum 950.

As the title sponsor of the “Trofeo Audemars Piguet Maserati Europa”, the watchmaker from Le Brassus, Switzerland, is also the official sponsor of the MC12 cars entering the GT series.

The Maserati MC12, the ultra-limited edition road car that has proved so effective in FIA GT races, was limited to a production run of just 50 examples. Its livery, blue and white, was reminiscent of the famous CAMORADI Tipo 60/61 'Birdcage' sports racing cars of the early '60s. It was produced between 2004 and 2005 at the price of EURO 720.000.

The GT racing version was developed from the road-going model - and this was the car that marked Maserati’s return to international racing. After a brilliant start up in 2004, Maserati won the FIA GT Manufacturers’ Cup in 2005.

The new Audemars Piguet Tourbillon and Chronograph and the GranSport MC Victory, officially launched at the Geneva Salon this year to celebrate the Maserati success in the FIA GT Championship, both show the strong effort of the Modenese manufacturer in motor sports.

Over 30 years of competition, Maserati has won 500 races when driven by some of the all time greats as Fangio and Moss.

As with the MC12 road car, only exotic materials have been used in the construction of the MC12 watch, including a platinum body, a carbon fiber movement main plate and many aluminum moving parts.

i'm not gonna lie, watches are wonderful pieces of machinery. some happen to be much more beautiful than others. regardless, six figures for any watch is far too much.
