Which corporate decisions make you mad? or simply bother you?

ex. naming Land Rover Discovery Mk3 as LR3 in US, discontinuating an iconic moniker only to accomodate public perceptions.

and

Replacing Maserati GT's "boomerang lights" to Rover lights because of some crazy US focus group.

How about Enzo saying aerodynamics are for those who can't build engines. :x That Lambo should go back to build tractors. :fist:

Except that is the polar opposite of a "corporate" decision.. those were a single man's words.. ;)

HeilSvenka: how about 99% of the moves made by corporations. For example: what the hell is Vw doing with their empire? Competing against themselves?

Or Jaguar for droppnig the F-type plans (which would have been BRILLIANT), or Bill Ford dumping Reitzle and Nasser.

Or ever letting Bangle take over. Thank god the one true designer there (think BMW Z8 - a car born of passion from Reitzle and Henrik Fisker - who is a very nice person) has been given free rein to design as he chooses @ Aston (and look at how beautiful the AM V8 and DB9 are as a result).

I totally agree about the Maser boomerang lights. They were way cool. I thought they were suzuki tail lights now?
