My newest addition to the fleet '01 Pathfinder
 

Well as some of you know I went to Sacramento on Spring Break and then drove home. Well this is the Truck my Uncle gave to me and I drove back with my Cousin.
It's a 2001 Nissan Pathfinder SE 4x4 with the Off-Road package.
It has 65,000 miles on it and in mint condition still under warranty too.
It has the VQ35 motor used in quite a few Nissan/ Infiniti's. It has the 250hp 265 lb/ft version. Obviously with the BOSE system aswell.

So he gave you this SUV as a gift? If so, that's a really cool uncle you have. I thought your uncle in Cali was going to give you a Macca. :wink:


Are you planning on taking it offroad?

Yeah he seriously gave it to me. He asked if I wanted it and obviously I said yes. He just bought an F-150 Lariat so he didn't need this anymore and since he's soo fucking loaded he just pays cash for his rides. He also owns a new 530i. I have no clue why he asked me but he did. As you can see it has California plates on it which I got when I was there and I will be replacing next week when I get paid.

No I don't plan on Off-roading it atleast seriously for a while. Since I have this now I am probably going to start working on my T-bird since I won't have to worry about having a ride the next day.

this truck is very nice, one friend has one, in black, looks awesome, is so comfortable, and very nice, but it look likes so different at the version formexico =)

Im not up to scratch on off roaders, but to me it looks very clean and tidy, and for free, its quite a bargain. You should at least have a drive over them hills in the pic :wink:

Thats a very generous uncle! Thing has to be worth what, $15k or so?

A friend used to have a Pathfinder, an older one though. Pretty nice and they are pretty good offroad. Give it a shot sometime, it's a lot of fun! Any off highway recreational areas near you?

Tub the Tbird, give it some slicks and supercharge the shit out of it. :)

the hills behind me are a forest preserve so I don't think that will fly too well. but it does mean I will always have a nice view through there. actually just down the road there is an area where people go off-roading but rarely in a stock vehicle my buddy tried it in his Durango R/T and he was lucky he had brush guards going through some of those trails and he went over a little jump maybe 3 feet and broke his left fog light so I'm a little hesitant.

Well first up for the T-bird is a new bullet proof tranny then motor swap for a newer style 4.6 (so as not to have to change any computer shit at first) since the ones in there now have 180,000 beaten to shit miles on them. and we will see from there. All my work money will be going toward it though.

sweet car, that 3.5 liter V6 is a really strong engine. my parents have a 2002 maxima with the same one and it really has some good power for a 4 door family car. i get to drive it every blue moon :D enjoy the car.

what's with those airplane stickers in the back? Is he a pilot or something?

Actually he is an Airtraffic control Specialist. The 757 is the largest plane he is certified for though. He does some on the side charter work mostly for executives flying to Vegas and he flew Hillary Duff a few times once to Vegas that I know of. And yes he is also a Harley guy aswell.
