FYI: Channel "G4" on Cable/Satelite
I'm guessing there's probably a bunch of people that know already, but I just found this channel while surfing this weekend. It is apparently a videogame channel, but it was playing a whole host of drifting stuff this weekend as well as coverage from Hot Import Nights, etc. Good stuff...even had the first round of D1 covered under a program called Forumla D.
In any case, thought I'd share with those that didn't know yet. Cheers. |
Yep, I've had this channel since it first started like 2 years ago. Though they call themselves a videogame channel, they are really more of a tech (to a lesser degree) channel. It is the product of 2 channels (TechTV and G4) that merged when Comcast (owners of TechTV) bought G4. It has had its ups and downs, multiple show changes, cast firings and countless format changes. Formula D (Drifting) and Street Fury (Import Scene) are new shows as of this year.

yeah I liked it better when TechTV was seperate from G4, it was a much better channel, then G4 came in and took over everything accept X-Play. I like the Formula D show but Street Fury is the biggest bunch of Rice in the world of television.

I also agree with TechTV being a far better channel before Comcast bought it. |
yeah Screen Savers went to shit as soon as Patrick was gone. And I liked Call for Help Leo could get a little annoying but better than the new people. Hell the only people left are the X-play crew and then Kevin and Sara, Dan held in for a while but now he's even gone. Martin Sargent was there and now he's gone isn't he?

TechTV used to be a mus vie in our house... but not for a long while since it went to crap.

I love X-play, and something about Morgan Webb. A hot chick who actually likes video games...its a dream come true.
