I have no idea myself, so I'm curious to see what you guys can find out. |
Some kitcar. No idea.

judging by the grill....some alfa
|
kinda reminds me of that '50s F1 replica they tested on top gear a few weeks back...the wheels look modern to me, but it doesnt comply at all with american safety standards (and judging by the background i'd say he lives in california or sumn), so it might well be an original old car...im curious also :)

I took the picture, yes it's in California. I certainly wouldn't say "kit car", although it may have been handbuilt. The craftsmanship on it was sublime. It was like seeing an old warbird fighterplane on wheels. Check out the seats.

Those rims look familiar....
|
^^ lol yeh .... you used those rims on your mini :P
looks to me like a custom job  .. . start searching custom cars site's .. you just might find it ... someday  |
if i am not very wrong it is a custom built body over some other donor car, built by some very good car-body maker... he was in a show on discovery, cant remember wich though... i think it was about american hot rods...
|
custom body on a 1986 Pontiac Fiero!
|
I think I saw that in a US car magazine a number of years ago - some chap in California commisioned a hand made classic roadster built around the F456 or F550 engine.
|
My first thought was a modified Morgan, but it's left-hand drive.
Probably a custom-built car. |

My dad has a car-building friend who looks kinda like that bloke, only he lives in Wisconsin.
