That should be a comfortable daily drive!

HeilSvenska 02-18-2007 09:15 PM

Wow, that's...useless...

Mattk 02-19-2007 12:44 AM

^No it isn't. Bankstown is full of hoons, and this high-profile police car may do something to lower the hooning.

HeilSvenska 02-19-2007 12:45 AM

Hoons? What's hoons? :P

acmarttin 02-19-2007 12:46 AM

What's hooning?

A hoon is someone who drives in a crazy manner (like doing burnouts etc), usually in ricers, and usually out west in places like Bankstown.

HeilSvenska 02-19-2007 01:20 AM

I still don't see how this is going to help, other than the fact that the police could possibly enter a high stakes tourmanents with these hoons with cars as wagers themselves to win out these hoons' cars, Fast and the Furious style. :D

ferrarif1fan89 02-19-2007 01:28 AM

why didnt lotus give an exige to the british police?

HeilSvenska 02-19-2007 01:38 AM

It has. To the Norfolk Police.

Well now they've got some street cred because they're driving an exotic. The hoons will probably show more respect to the Exige than the regular V8s. I guess that's the idea. They wouldn't do it if they didn't think that it'd work.

HeilSvenska 02-19-2007 02:07 AM

:D Respect. I know what you mean. Although I'd be more terrified if the police went around in an FPV GTP or a HSV GTS. But I guess they don't command "respect" from these hoons.

Well, I've never seen them used as police cars. I see Commodore SS V8s, but not the FPV or HSV cars.

Great little nimble car! :D

They all have Vito vans here LOL!
