Intriguing...I'll believe it when I see it, but I would kind of like to see it out-Veyron the Veyron via a bit of fat-trimming rather than brute force...not that the Mclaren F1 was ever exactly, "fat."

wow......that is awesome news for all us Macca fans! thanks for sharing.....i see it is a press release meant to be released on the 20th of this month

not to be anal but for such an official announcement there were a lot of spelling errors.....

I want to see what Gordon Murray thinks. In an interview couple of years ago, he said that the only thing he'd touch was the lighting units, nothing more.

No he doesn't. He has his own design company. But the F1 was his baby. I'm sure if this pdf file is authentic, he'd have an opinion on it.

You mean the "I'm-rich-but-not-rich-enough-for-the-LM-version-but-it-looks-same-enough" kit? ;-)

Hardly, just some downforce to settle the tricky rear end

Haven't looked hard enough but the press release seems to have some typos in the document. Can't really see Ron Dennis allowing this sort of thing.

Hmm if I had an F1, would I be happy and leave it alone.

Yes.
