makes me wonder about the precision, and reliability of the automatic radar they, and other contries use. most radars are only effective to cirtain speeds due to red, or blue harmonic shift beyond the reciever's capabilities. ~~~ this is why in TG they tested to see what speed the speed camera would fail to work~~~

it is quite funny that the ticket was even sent. lucky for me, police in the states still have to work in order to issue tickets. the speed cameras are so.... in-human

Oh, so it wasn't a cop who gave out the ticket, it was automatically sent after a radar camera thought he was speeding. At first i thought it was a cop who gave the ticket but now it makes sense. Oh and just a quick question about mini's, I remember top gear doing a segment on aftermarket versions of the mini. What were these versions?

Lol...Something like that happend in Melbourne in australia as a girl was driving her 1974 Datsun 120Y and clocked over 195km/hr in a 60km zone..Top speed of the car was 140km/hr they tested at calder race track,took it to the court and won...

It's ture it's true.. The mini can do such speeds.. But it's a secret.. :mrgreen: ..

u never know, maybe the radar did work, only a UFO flying infront of the mini checking out the creation of BMW and find out it's not big a deal then speed off LOL!!!
