The good thing is: Spa-Francorchamps is back on the F1-calendar. Our GP got cancelled a year or two ago as well, so I know how you feel.
It's all about tobacco-publicity, same as here. What happened here in Belgium was that the green parties were slashed in this year's election for not wanting to make an exception to allow F1 to make publicity for tobacco-products. Right after the election the new parliament decided to change the law and allowed the publicity on the track. Bernie thought that was cool and put Spa back on the calendar. All the drivers like it as well, so that helped. Everybody should be happy now because it's the greatest F1-track in the world.
All I can say is: learn from how we handled this shit.
