strange but I dont see the need for that.. if you want to browse without loosing new post icons just log out when you leave

Well I use that method myself too with a dummy account
sometimes I need to quickly check something on JW but can't afford to stay online more than a couple of seconds.. so there is no choice.. of course this happens only when away form home since here I have the automatical identification box checked and I always forget to log out when I close the window
But well, as always better judge case by case... for the ban I mean.. as for access to the exclusive areas, of course somebody acting that way, using various nick and so on, doesn't stand a chance
