Actually my dear friend, this time we shall disagree. It rarely does crash.

I used to own quite a few Symbian OS-based phones, including smartphones (everything from Nokia, to Sony Ericsson, to Samsung), and those are rubbish, especially compared to the WinMobile-based XDA series.

That's why I've had my XDAII for 2 years already, and only put up with my old P800 for 3 months.

The Windows Mobile platform is actually far more stable as a smartphone platform than the Symbian one, even though it isn't what you would call a dedicated mobile platform.

The only time it may crash is if you run too many large programs simultaneously. (i.e. calendar, media player, camera, and sms)

As long as you have a task manager to shut down the background programs, it's really very stable.
