well Schumi dropped to 5th with McLaren jumping to the front.

If it rains, i think we will see championship tighten up severly. Bridgestone may have failed in their quest for a good dry tire, but they are still superior with their wets.

Heh, not really if you look at Spa. Michelin did a lot of Wet tyre testing in the winter and tightened the gap; I'd say they're comparable right now, maybe with a small adavantadge to Michelin. The little fuckers completely copied the Bridgestone's intermediates tread design...
True, but i still don't think Michelin has the formula down for the inters. tread design does not entirely dictate a tire's performance.

Yeah, I wasn't relying on the tread design alone. But look at this:

When it rained at Indy in 2003, by the time all the drivers had the inters on, Schummi was being about 3 seconds a lap faster than Raikokonen and a Sauber finished in third, ahead of a Renault. Hell, even the Jordans were being fast!


And now look at Spa, this year...
