Bad news, the National Post reported today that in the new year, record companies are planning lawsuits in Canada similar to the ones that began in the US this year. There were some quotes from a lawyer who specializes in internet law and he thinks the suits will be dificult to win for the record companies due to the law we've already been discussing here. But he thinks that if the companies decide to bring suits against the uploaders, those poor saps will be screwed. A representative from one of the record companies said they've been collecting information on Kazaa users for a few months now. :cry:
