Subzero!!!

The car looks magnificent in the flesh and a tremendous GT cruiser in its time capable of eating thousands of miles with ease. Dan Gurney and Brock Yates won a Cannonball rally (drive across the US) in a Daytona.

Officially called the 365 GTB/4, It was dubbed the Daytona unofficially by journalists and enthusiasts in recognition of Ferrari's 1-2-3 win in the 1967 24 hours of Daytona race. It was supposed to be a temporary stop gap car between the 275 GTB/4 and the future mid engine 365 GT4/BB (Boxer). But as the fans loved the car, it remained in production for 5 years and was the best selling V12 Ferrari in its time

It was sold as a Berlinetta coupe and a spider. As the Spider was more valuable, quite a few coupes were transformed into spiders. Bastards! it was available with either fixed headlamps and pop-up lights.

A marvellous car with a fantastic sound even without any enhancements (tubi's etc..). Ageless looks and one of Pininfarina's best efforts IMO.

This is a definite entry in my dream garage. Yellow Daytona with fixed headlamps. Yeah baby!!!
