I looked at that exact list actually, and based my reply around it. That list is from 2002 or earlier, so I adjusted slightly for drivers like Ralf Schumacher and Kimi Raikkonen, and the natural increase that has occurred over the last 4 years, and is only going to increase substantially again next season (for example, Ralf Schumacher is now making around 20 million, not ~6 million as reported back then). Also, don't forget to note that those dollar amounts are in british pounds, which equate to nearly double the amount when converted to USD.

And I never denied that there was a gap in salaries, hell, I clearly agreed on it, but you were going on about averages, and on average the modern salary is at the very least 2 million, excluding any outside income or race bonuses.

And by the way, I'm actually watching the NASCAR pre-race show at this very moment, just like I do every weekend, so you can be the one to go and weep thank you very much.
