Consumer Reports is fairly anti-domestic in its reviews. When there's something good about a domestic car (or bad about "super number one automaker Toyota"), it's mentioned and that's about it. If it's the other way around, it's mentioned, figured into the score, and put in the overall summary. If it was a readership survey, the results would hardly be scientific since many of the readers are Toyota-huggers looking to justify the purchase of their latest soulless rolling refrigerator.
