Alonso was behind Michael when he pitted right?
Alonso's in-lap was slower than Michael's inlap by 2 seconds itself.
Alonso's out-lap was slower than Michael's outlap but not by much
Hence Michael got ahead.
That 1.5sec lap advantage was what he had in the second stint only. Remember on the outlap you cant immediately belt out a superfast lap - you need to get your tires up to speed.
