Goodnight Tokyo!

People feel safe in Tokyo and don't have to drive anywhere. So why not just drink all night and sleep wherever?

Hey, it's been a long day, and the train ride is long. Good night.

Good morning sir. Were you hypnotized by your own shirt?

The first thought on his mind when he wakes up: "Do I go back to the hostess club to get my shirt?"

This truly expert public sleeper knows that the briefcase makes an excellent pillow. And look at the deft usage of the steps to provide maximum back support. What is he holding? Perhaps he found the other guy's shirt.

It would almost appear that this gentleman has fallen down. His hat and glasses seem to have exploded from his head. Yet, he has good manners -- he has carefully removed his shoes and he is clinging to his cell phone. Perhaps he is simply waiting for a call.

It seems to be no big deal to sleep at your desk. Many opt for the face-in-keyboard tactic, while others try a sitting-up-straight-with-eyes-closed technique.

Another expert. Notice how he has picked the prime spot -- he has head support on the side and has spread his knees to assert his space. This is true luxury.

Many taxi drivers sleep in their cars, but why should they have all the fun? This guy is making the most of his plush scooter seat and handlebars-as-pillow.

In between deliveries? Just turn 180 degrees and wait for the next call. I wonder if he is paid by the hour?

This poor guy has clearly a few things to learn from the professionals. His train stopped but he did not get on. Some day he will develop the ability to magically wake up when the train arrives

So close, yet... never made it on the train.

Sleeping in clubs is also a fairly common practice. Usually guys pick a spot near the corner. You think maybe it is time to just go home?

He's dreaming that he actually met a girl tonight.

Not enough cash for the cab ride home? Just sleep until the first train

Hey, the trains have started... hello...

Some guys have too much pride to actually lie down. I mean, does it really matter when you're already on the street?

The lucky ones find a bus stop bench. Wow, he even kept his full suit.

Don't feel sorry for this guy. He's got his briefcase, his suit, and he's under the watchful care of Tokyo's finest!

Looks like this gentleman's pillow has shifted, making him a bit fussy in his sleep.
