Default Tunisia And Sahara Desert (my vacation)

September 2008. Tunisia - Africa. My holiday vacation. It was a great vacation, a lot of sun a high temperatures. Hotel Services at their best, very good food, and nice people. We went 2 days in the Sahara Desert for a Camel trip and a Jeep Safari to the Atlas Mountains and a dried lake. The Jeep Safari was AMAZING! As close to the Dakar Rally as you can get! Jumping over sand dunes, climbing mountains, it was better the Disney! We also visited the Friguia Zoo, a 36 hectare and 360 animals reservation, and at the end of the day, we were invited to a Zulu dance in the Zoo Restaurant.

Enjoy the pictures.

Very HOT! about 40-45 degrees celsius, and how we got there was the best part, the Jeep safari was like a Dakar special stage, pure adrenaline! The Helicopter was another great thing, you could hear the sound from far away, and see the Heli behind the dunes and flying 10-20 meters above you.
