Awesome Articles! Thanks for scanning TT
That picture of the GT w/ the Prancing Horse in the bknd - how symbollic!
As for those Road and Track testing times... well, I've never had the most faith in their testing techniques. And I'm pretty sure Road and Track has tested faster/quicker cars than the Ford GT's 3.3 seconds to 60. I remember the issue where the Saleen beat the Mclaren's record, and then right after, the Enzo beat the Saleen's record. All had round 3.3 - I don't remember the details, but there's some (alleged) science in their testing, taking into account margin of possible error etc.

Hey dani, u meant FordGT rite?
Yeah, it's great to see the GT travel across the ocean and show it claws to the horsy.

Oh, and the quote about the GT covering 21 miles per gallon - a record for a 550 bhp supercar?

I remember a Zonda (a ~550 hp supercar, if i'm not mistaken) got 20+ mpg on a cross country trip through europe. In fact, I think it was when Tiff tested the car. Not sure on who tested it, tho I remember it had good fuel economy for a supercar.

(Random thought: when the horsepower wars exhaust themselves, and oil prices hit more record highs, the next automotive battle-ground could be the economical supercar. "700bhp AND 37mpg!" - I can see it now....."

Great article... looks like Evo #76 hit all the right notes this time. I love how the GT had such a big impact where Ferraris are commonplace.

As for 21mpg... damn maybe JC will be able to make it to work on one tank of gas

haha, yeah - as long as he doesn't do any of his 4mpg driving, he might be able to get to work AND back home on one tank.

I first tried saving the articles with Firefox but apparently I just eats the 256mb memory of my old P3 500. I paused after every picture I save, so just went back to good old internet explorer.

Thx for this one TT, the concept of the article is really nice, I'm curious about the reaction from the Ferrari people!
