Default To non-english speakers - has your english improved on JW?

I can't believe the title text only allows so little... anyway...

Has it?

Yeah, this is an interesting question. Generally, writing English on a regular basis would improve communication skills; but to what extent?

^Spamming, hahaha!

So it seems written English would improve by posting, but what about speaking and listening? Do Top Gear clips and funny videos from YouTube deliver any increase in understanding of the English language?
