No I didn't saw them on the road, I met them in a dealership. This time I was allowed to see two awesome cars of a private collection: an AR1 and a DB7 Zagato. Although only 99 cars of each one were built, the AR1 is more exclusive since it was only intended for the US market. But some European costumers came begging Aston Martin to sell them in Europe. So after a lot of talking (and extra £££ prolly) about 5 European costumers got their hands on an AR1. The chances of spotting an AR1 on the roads over here is about nil, cause without a roof the car isn't really suited for the typical rainy weather.
Logically I was very happy to be able to see one. I was so happy that I almost went completely crazy
My brains must have stopped working when I took the pics, cause they don't really fulfil my expectations. For a starter, I completely forgot to put my pola filter on the camera, what was I thinking?
Besides these rare cars, there was a nice DB5 Convertible too, in vary good condition. I now also had a chance to take some pics of the DB9 Volante. I already saw a glimpse of one last week on the other side of the motorway, but it was impossible to take pics. Luckily this time the car was standing still.
Enough talking, here are the pics:
