Default Nurburgring: Yet another crash with Marc Basseng

Hi,

This crash comes out of the VLN-season report of last year. It's once again Marc Basseng who trashes the land-motorsport Porsche. Reason for the crash; one of the rear tyres exploded and the car lost control over the car.

Cheers

Hi captain Slow

It's always possible that this is a repost, but can't remember having seen it before. I almost had the chance to snap this crash because it happened very near by me. I heard the bangs and went to the crash seen. I was able to make a few shots of the driver once I got out of the car and was lying down in the grass. He was recovering of the crash of course, no need to say that after having seen this footage. Once the adrenaline gets out of your blood you start feeling the pain.

Cheers

BTW: when you click on the link above, you get a bunch of other videos as well, one of them shows the crash of the Techart GT STreet (Porsche crash in Nurburgring @ 250 km/h) Quite a crash as well. Nice to know that each and every time the driver steps away unharmed.

Cheers
